The location was perfect, every attraction in the city was a 10 minute walk away. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, during check-in, throughout the stay, and check-out. The breakfast buffet was delightful (on the one day that it was available during my stay), it had a wide array of savory, sweet, and everything in between.

Perfectly nice hotel! We stayed for only one night as we passed through Terceira. Everything was clean and comfortable enough. The wifi was very good, good enough for me to stream and even take a work call. The room is small, but not unmanagable. The staff was helpful and kind. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed the town of Angra, it has a bit more history and architectural beauty than we found elsewhere in the Acores, and this was the perfect location to explore from.

What I liked the most were the old streets, with the buildings, including the Angra do Heroismo Museum. However, there were a few minor annoyances:
1. The Tourust Information booth was useless, and you couldn't book a tour on-site.
2. The routes were pretty narrow, and people parked on the street, and nearly everyone drove, which made it a bit perilous for those on foot.
Nevertheless, the people were nice, and most spoke English

We did a lot of walking as it’s often the best way to get to know a place. Angra has much to offer in the way of history, beautiful public gardens, views - we climbed Monte Brasil - churches and eateries.

Beautiful, walkable downtown. People were so friendly.
Beautiful, walkable downtown. People were so friendly. Stunning views both looking at Monte Brasil and from Monte Brasil looking back toward town. The pink cathedral was very interesting, worth a stop in. Food was excellent! We especially enjoyed O Forno for dessert and the many tapas restaurants on Rua de Sāo Joāo. We also went scuba diving and found Nuno with Deep Blue Azores to be fantastic - wonderful dive master and very interactive underwater. Wonderful island and already itching to go back!

I was only there for one day, which was definitely not enough! Still, I was able to do a hike at Monte Brasil and explore Angra do Heroísmo downtown. Really recommend Monte Brasil if you are looking for some nature near town. Besides that the view from Obelisco do Alto da Memoria is amazing! I had lunch at Tasca das Tias, a really cute restaurante with great food.

Definitely do an organised island tour.
Definitely go to and swim in the natural pools at Biscoitos.
Go to the botanical gardens in Angra, and up to the monument at the top.
Great places to eat in Angra, including O Chico, Teatro, Magma, and Cafe Alianca, centrally on the main square.
Local buses run from the main bus station in Angra over all of the island, making travel easy.

Super accommodation, good value for money. Well-equipped apartment. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever been in a hotel, I loved it! The sofa and the whole arrangement of the apartment was nice. They had Ritual products in the bathroom, it was great, I appreciated it. The breakfast and the restaurant is also great. The breakfasts I loved. I had dinner in the restaurant once, it was nice and delicious, however, quite pricy though. The staff was very kind and helpful with all requests and questions. Thank you.
New place, very well located in Angra do Heroismo with free parking a couple of minutes of walk away. Nicest hosts with good recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. Would definitely go back just because they are so welcoming and want to make sure that everything will be perfect during the stay. Breakfast was delicious with local products and homemade cake. We had an early check-out and they made sure there was a box of breakfast left for us in the morning.
Our experience with Margarida and the property made us feel very welcome in Terceira/Angra do Heroísmo! Great location and comfortable room for the price. Margarida was a wonderful host making sure we had everything we needed yet also giving us privacy - she even invited us to the patio for dessert and music with her family upon our arrival! The communal kitchen was a plus with a fridge shelf for groceries, plenty of coffee/tea, cooking materials, and cereals.
Great view to the ocean. The house was fully equipped and gave the feeling like we lived in out own place. Cost us 20 euro with taxi from the airport to the house and about 10-13 euro to get to the capitol - Angra do Heroismo . We hired a car and we had lovely time exploring Terceira island. There is a local restaurant that serves delicious food just 10-15 mins walk. Very friendly host - always picked the phone and helped us with our enquiries.
The included breakfast buffet was very good for the hotel rating, little variation from day to day but consistent and hearty. The view and location above the beach, marina and Monte Brasil were amazing. Comfy corner room offered two Juliet balconies, room larger than expected for historic building. AC/heat worked well, plentiful hot water and pressure, tea kettle and fridge in room were all pluses. Excellent rate for my week stay.
The included breakfast was very good, but also very typical. The fresh orange juice was a perk and the garden view was an added bonus. The hot food choices were exactly the same all six days and with so many close-by breakfast restaurants, your hotel could probably do more to “distinguish” itself. Not a requirement since the breakfast was fine, but here’s an opportunity to step up.
Grand hotel that I think has only recently opened. Lovely views of Monte Brasil. Has a swimming pool. Spacious airy feel to the place and interesting history. Staff are very helpful, professional and friendly. Very personalised feel to the place due to high staff/guest ratio; were able to assist me a lot. Nice breakfast. Large area in front of entrance to park car.
The place is very well located, right in the center of Angra do Heroísmo. There are many bars and restaurants in the neighborhood, hence it is a lively area. The room was clean, just enough for a weekend stay. It felt safe, wifi worked well and overall I have had a good experience.

the house was beautiful, and the staff were exceptional! there are a lot of beautifully renovated hotels but this one has all the details right which is hard to do. Laura was particularly exceptional and we were really sad to leave her care.
All was good.
Waking up with the sound of the waves tells everything.
The position is in front of mount Brasil. very Quick to take a bath with the beach near the hotel. 5 minutes on feet to the center of Angra.
Fantastic stay in Terceira.
I enjoyed the garden-side room with small balcony. I enjoyed the hot tub. I enjoyed the breakfast area, with its varied options, including the milk for coffee, (not offered in cafes in the city) And I enjoyed the hotel restaurant.
Quick stay for a layover, staff were friendly and gave me some local tips and arranged for a taxi to the airport for my early morning flight. Centrally located and a quick walk to all the sites in Angra do Heroismo!
The hotel shares the community fitness center, so you have access to a gym with much better equipment than your standard hotel. The indoor and outdoor pool options are nice as well, though I did not utilize them.
Great location, beautiful rooms, lovely balcony, and the nicest staff around - very kind and very helpful! We will definitely come back to this hotel the next time we’re in Terceira! I’m
It was a wonderful combination of luxury hotel and historical site. The hotel is built around an old Fort that once defended the harbour. The old city was within walking distance.
Location, friendliness of staff and owners and beauty of the farm. A piece of countryside in the heart of the city of Angra do Heroísmo. Highly recommended!
