Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful scenery. Lots of places to go even if you don't go hiking.
Lots of art galleries and hand made jewelry; not many places for inexpensive souvenirs, atleast I couldn't find any until we were heading back down south of Sedona.

The scenery of Sedona is stunning.
The scenery of Sedona is stunning. The trailhead parking can be an issue, and we were there during the week. I would not attempt a visit on the weekend as Sedona is extremely popular. There is a Sedona shuttle. We ate dinner one night at Mesa Grill, which was excellent. Reservations are required for dinner at Mesa Grill, even on a week night.

This location is south of Sedona in the smaller community of Village of Oak Creek. Close to many wonderful hikes, walking distance to grocery store and several restaurants yet far from the larger Sedona crowds and traffic. Nearby Ranger Station very well done and helpful.

One or two days is all that is needed if with a family.
One or two days is all that is needed if with a family. The town is too crowded and commercialized so visit Sedona for the nature, the hikes, the vistas. If you do plan in being in town then plan to visit very early on weekends and watch out for traffic, it can be really bad. Also, make dinner reservations well in advance. Food/restaurants are just OK so if you are a foodie lower your expectations.

Beware of ticketing traps on tourists.
Beware of ticketing traps on tourists. Look at Trip Advisor concerning this scam. Always loved Sedona. We parked with other cars on a quiet street where there were no 'no parking' signs. We got a ticket for $125 and cannot possibly go to court to contest it. We live in Washington. We were legally parked and criminalized as is their routine for tourists. One of the
restaurants imposed a 24% tip automatically
I've done a lot of travelling (97 countries) but staying at Cosy Cactus was one of my best hotel experiences. It is has a charming location, great wifi, shower pressure, HUGE bed, generous amenities (a filter coffee machine *within* the room) and a delicious, light breakfast with a jaw dropping mountain view. Mark and the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and have built a really lovely and warm community with all the guests. It was an excellent place for our honeymoon :).
No breakfast because of Covid, but coffee machine and snacks were available in the room.
Location is superb, just outside from Sedona downtown, so far from traffic. A tranquil place facing the Red Rocks of Sedona in a pretty garden.
We got all the help we wanted to select the best hikes.
We had access to the pristine river and its private beach across the street at the foot of the Red Rocks.
We arrived at night and woke up to the amazing view. The room was a good size room for our family. We appreciated having good storage spaces as well as counter space. The fridge had a small freezer which was good to keep out ice packs cold for our cool box.
The hotel was in am excellent location within easy reach of Sedona. Lots of amenities nearby.
This location and the style of this property is fun and the gardens and view are great. The airport messa view is the best in Sedona and you walk from your room !! Get directions from the hotel staff. Tell them you have a dog and it will all go smoothly..Their view is the best in Sedona. You have to stay here.
Breakfast was delicious! Rebekka and the rest of the morning staff, were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The hotel concierge, Lynn, is extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided us with excellent information to make our time in Sedona better! Thank you to everyone!
The location was excellent, close to all the wonderful sights of Sedona. The views from the hotel are amazing! The breakfast was great to start the day. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The facilities are in excellent condition. Loved the hot tub! Highly recommended!
Wonderful apartment, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, and THE BEST towels of any place I've stayed anywhere in the world. Angus was very helpful and made checking in easy. Great location in Sedona with shops and restaurants nearby, and close to everything.
Clean, exactly what they said it was, great location, good price compared to other stays that after staying can confirm would just be for extra luxuries if you’re someone who prefers that and staying in hotel all day while in Sedona…to each their own. Thanks!!
Recently remodel rooms equivalent to a newer Hilton Garden inn or Marriott Fairfield Inn. Clean, comfortable and stylish right in the heart of Sedona. It's not a resort, so no pool, cafe etc, but great for a place to sleep.
Wonderful place, quiet, peaceful, comfortable, clean. It has everything and even more. Convenient location. Fabulous views. We are very pleased. If we return to Sedona we will definitely return again. Highly recommended.
they had thought of all the little things that help a stay easy. Location was outside of Sedona, but very easy to get to all amenities. Everythjng was clean and stocked and the staff were excellent
I have stayed at several hotels in Sedona and Oak Creek. None of them compared to the Desert Quail Inn where everyone is friendly and helpful, and everything is totally clean and very well kept.
