This is our third time coming to Carmel, and if I win the lotto, I will buy here. It is like nothing else you can experience on the West Coast. There are so many shops, wine tasting, hundreds of wonderful restaurants, and, did I say shopping? We coordinated this trip with a concert at the Sun Set Center. If you can attend a concert there, you will not be let down. It was amazing and within walking distance.

Carmel is a cute, charming seaside town with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Mostly all parking is on-street parallel parking. The Adobe Inn, where we stayed, is located within a block of all the restaurants and shops and even has its own parking garage located below the Inn. At night the town pretty much clears out after 9 or 10, but walking back to the Inn felt safe. Carmel is the jewel in the PCH crown. A beautiful spot with its own personality. The cutest shops, amazing food and outstanding beaches. Super close to Big Sur and also the 17 Mile Drive - make sure you visit Peeble Beach Golf Club!

The morning and afternoon is the best time to spend it in Carmel. During night time it’s not lit up as you think it would be. But during the day it’s absolutely amazing. This hotel has Carmel Valley Roasters coffee in the rooms and lots of beautiful blooming flowers everywhere you look. The parking is also exceptional as there is a drive through loop behind the hotel and lots of spaces so you are not afraid to drive out for day trips for fear of losing the only space you've got.
