Roads and sidewalks should be repaired throughout Corfu. In many places, there are no sidewalks at all, it is quite dusty and there are a lot of unkempt green areas. The city of Corfu is well worth a visit, a lot of history, the old town is beautiful. We expected more real Greek music and customs in cafes and restaurants.

The road is busy and noisy, we were lucky to choose a hotel...
The road is busy and noisy, we were lucky to choose a hotel away from it. The restaurants and bars benefit from being away from the road too. The buses are very good into Corfu town which is stunning and where to get your culture fix. Tourism has well and truly taken over the rest of the island which is a bit of a shame. Disappointing that there was little wildlife although watching the swallows and swifts was a joy.

Unfortunately, the Dassia resort is not clean, because there are no trash cans at the bus station and the local authorities are not doing their job. A small place but everything you need to enjoy a beach...
A small place but everything you need to enjoy a beach holiday and a great bus service to travel the island .Only downside was the best parts of the beach were monopolised by 2 huge all inclusive hotels . There are other parts of the beach to use but not soo pretty .

The room was beautiful and the area was quiet but close enough to bars/restaurants etc within a 5minute walk. The pool was well kept and the little terrace was perfect. The communication with Alex was also perfect prior to our arrival. Nothing was of too much trouble. Was a wonderful stay. Thank you! We'd happily come back here again. Tip for anyone looking here.. hire a car. It makes life so much easier visiting all the beautiful places in corfu.RossanoUnited Kingdom

Only about 20 minutes from the airport and walking distance to shops and the beach. Marilena the host is lovely and very accommodating, she can’t do enough for you, even down to our last day she let us store our luggage at her house in Corfu town before we went to the airport as our flight home was at nighttime. I would like to go again in the future and recommend it to people who like their home comforts.

The beach is also nearby, within 10 minutes on foot. It is not the best beach in the world, but if you go at the beach bar Malibu you will have a great time. The jetty for boat trips was opposite where there was a big square with sun beds. The food in the restaurant was also excellent. There were supermarkets within walking distance and an excellent cheap bus service into Corfu’s town.

The location of the property is very good, close to tavernas , markets, pharmacys. The beach is at 10 -15 min by walk. ( to the left) Dassia is a good start to explore the island.
