Sarah was a spectacular hostess, she went above and beyond for sure. We arrived to fresh brown bread, jams and all the makings for crisp sandwiches! Sarah also had some fresh fruits, milk and other bits. Everything was absolutely flawless, the kitchen and baths were well stocked, just such an adorable place. We loved all the special touches, and Sarah was so responsive through our trip. We will absolutely be visiting again!

We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

This property had everthing you needed and more. There was bread,butter,tea, coffee and much more. Clean and comfortable. Hosts were very helpful and even drove us to the wedding we were attending.

Avril, Dave and their daughter Maisie were born to be in the hospitality industry. They are warm, friendly and very accommodating. The house could be featured in an Architectural Digest magazine! Our room was beautiful and extremely comfortable with high quality linens. The common areas for guests are lovely. Breakfast was wonderful with an incredible selection. We had the charcuterie and seafood platters for dinner the night we arrived and both were delicious. We really can’t say enough about this B&B. Do yourself a favour and stay here!

She was very friendly and easy to get on with and full of information on where to eat and things to do in the area. There were easy to follow instructions on how to use the tv, heating, showers etc. and details of local shops and bus times. Basic essentials were available, bread, butter, water bottles, shampoo, shower gel etc. The suite was warm, well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The tv had access to streaming services. The location is a little far out from town and would require a car however everything was within driving distance, local shops, historic sites, surrounding towns. The suite was very affordable. I couldn't recommend Adrienne more.

Less than three minute walk into the town Square, where one will find a pet friendly cafe, known as Ciara's Candy and cafe. Kevin has a pub as well, where your pet is welcome and the staff and locals are very friendly and helpful. We had a Totally relaxed break and even our cockapoo, Mitzi relaxed for a change, as she does not travel to well. A good base for traveling from. Definitely be back.
