A well appointed apartment in central Airolo. The hosts had even set the heating running prior to our arrival on motorcycles on a very wet day. The washer and drier were much appreciated.

it was perfect. our car broke down just before the Gotthard tunnel. the great rooms and restaurant which had a lot of vegan and vegetarian options cheared us up!!! and the small train station just in front of it great stuff!

This chalet is a nice experience. The reason why I give a 10/10 is that al standard commercial places become boring over time. This small chalet in the middle of the mountains is the exact opposite. The full wood interior and the low ceiling (I’m 1.83 and nearly touch the ceiling) made it really cosy. The bed is also great.

The Motel Gottardo Sud can be found 7 minutes from the A2 / E35 highway, south of the Gotthard tunnel. It offers quiet rooms, tasty food, free parking and free Wi-Fi.

The motel is situated close to the Gotthard Pass and Gotthard Tunnel. For me it was an ideal place to stop being 7 hours drive from home. The staff were exceptional taking first class care of us. The meals in the restaurant were simple, tasty, and a good size. Exceptional value for money and just right for a tired traveller. The rooms were quiet and facilities (other restaurants, fuel, post office etc all close to hand.

Locanda Orelli is a self check-in property in the centre of Bedretto in the heart of the Swiss Alps, 6 km from Airolo and the Gotthard Tunnel.
