It's located in the heart of an incredibly beautiful Schierke just a couple of minutes away from the bus stop. The room is super clean and comfortable, breakfast is tasty and generous, and people are extremely kind and friendly. Hiking trails are nearby as well as the station of the tourist train. We loved this stay a lot, would highly recommend this place!

The apartment is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, a short distance from both the castle and the beautiful city center. The apartment is so beautifully and cozy renovated while the owners have preserved key parts of the house's history and soul, including the old doors and the gorgeus entrance. The beds, sofa, bathtub and adorable terrace were among all the parts we loved about this place. We would definitely recommend it.

Everything was really great - walking (7 minutes) distance from the train station, 1 min walk to the historical part of the city, yet very quiet and secluded location. A beautiful view on the Castle from one window and Brocken from the other one. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We clearly will be back here again!

Great, well equipped and VERY clean and with everything you need for a great stay. We loved our vacation in Wernigerode and our evening walks with the restaurants and shops just outside the door. We were on day trips to Thale, Goslar, Bad Harzburg and other nice places and you can reach almost everything within half an hour. Simply perfect! Can only recommend

The hostess moved us into the downstairs apartment because the dishwasher upstairs wasn't working, so these comments apply to that one (the Rebecca apt). This apartment was the most well organised and well redecorated (it must have been done quite recently) place we've stayed in in a long time. Large, beautiful and comfortable. 2 large double bedrooms, medium sized kitched, large sitting room and a separate hallway with dining table. Also access to a lovely inner courtyard, excellent for a drink in the afternoon. Location is right by the town center, yet on a very quiet street. Also only a couple of minutes away from the Westtor train station where you can catch the steam trains.

BODETALER BASECAMP LODGE - Ihre Boutique Lodge im Harz se nachází v destinaci Rübeland a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a terasou. Super friendly and helpful staff, fantastic fresh food, served traditional DDR (East German) soups for starters, although other fresh organic foods were also available. Food was SUPERB. Room was beautiful with terrace overlooking the water and shower with back jets - perfect for relaxing muscles after a day hiking.. Great atmosphere, super chilled and relaxed, restaurant was similar to an American lodge (but way cooler). Staff were so kind and accomodating and were great Ambassador's for Germany. Would definitely stay again. Great for those on the Harzer Hexensteig.
