We stayed overnight on the way from Istria to the Zagreb airport. History is interesting and setting in Gorski Kotar is very pleasant. Very convenient location and nice small town. Parking lot is small and was full but the front desk was very helpful and told us to just park in the bus spot.

Apartment was even bigger than it looked on the website, and was equipped essentially with more than what's usually needed (kettle, microwave, fridge, stove, etc.). And even if you miss something, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, with lots of options. Location is really great if you're with family, as on one side it's very quiet but on another you have several restaurants/bars/shops withing walking distance. If you like parties, bars etc. - the Crikvenica center can be reached by foot following the road next to the beach. There are cars there, but due to the fact that it's only one way, it's relatively safe. The closest beach is very good and really close (you just need to walk down, max. 5 min without kids :)), it also has a beach bar and it's possible to rent sunbeds/umbrellas. Staff is very helpful, and you can get great advice and recommendations from them. They really make this place awesome. I would say they are the main differentiator and reason for my high ratings. The hotel has lot's of places to sit and relax, a pool and even a room for children to play if the weather is bad.

Everything was absolutely great and cool and awesome!🎖✨️ The apartment is large, clean, modernly renovated and has a cozy and unique design. We had everything we needed, the owners are extremely nice and warm people, we were honored to be their guests. The hot tub and sauna are a luxurious addition to all the equipment of the Apartment. This accommodation deserves only the highest rating.🏆 Although Bakar is controversial compared to other Croatian seaside destinations due to its industrial character, I absolutely fell in love with this town, it has it's own spirit and atmosphere, it is also very authentic because it is not the usual main tourist destination. The location of the Apartment is absolutely perfect. If I'll go to Bakar again, this will be my place to stay again!💕💕💕💕
