Ganesh Ayurveda holiday home was a great find. The location was just what we were looking for after 7 weeks travelling around India. A very quiet restful home overlooking the lake. The rooms ( I think 8 in total ) all have balconies with chairs and a table. The staff are very nice, especially Murugan the manager and the cleaning ladies. Breakfast is excellent with coffee or tea, a bowl of fruit, followed by an omelette and toast and jam. There is a very large clean pool which was great to cool off in. Overall I can highly recommend this property if you are looking to relax. Murugan can also arrange tuk tuk to Kovalam. I’d also recommend an early morning walk around the lake…excellent. Murugan can also arrange Ayurveda massages at the property.

The Pamini brothers and entire family were very welcoming. Felt like home away from home.. We also liked having a full kitchen available to us.

We had the most romantic and beautiful view from our seaside balcony. Breakfast AND dinner were amazing. The restaurant also looks very beautiful. Pool was nice! Hotel was properly maintained, staff very helpful and friendly. The lighthouse beach is just a short walking distance from the hotel. Overall Superb stay!

Its a wonderful resort. Just a walk away from the beach. Wonderful warm pool. Breakfast spread was very good. Staff were very attentive in taking care of every minute thing. Cottages were clean and spacious. Food in the restaurant was awesome.

The location, the cottages were beautifully decorated with a sea view and so tranquil and calm, morning yoga by the sea, watching the sunsets from the yoga platform, the friendly and helpful staff. They even prepared a surprise for my daughter’s birthday! We loved everything, it was just perfect! Would highly recommend a stay.

Somatheeram Research Institute And Ayurveda Hospital lies along a private beach area on Chowara Beach.
