La Gemma has a fantastic location, literally 2min walk from many of the main sights. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful - making us feel cherished and right at home. The design of the hotel and rooms is gorgeous, while being practical; and I like the attention to detail. Will definitely be back!

Friendly stuff, very good breakfast, comfortable room with comfortable beds for a family of 4. Great indoor pool. A lot of nice typical restaurants close by. The jaccuzi on the top floor with the view of Florence skyline by night a must do as well.

Fantastic location close to walk to everything we wanted, fun pool area, amazing helpful staff, beautiful big room, fantastic bathroom, amazing breakfast included bellinis!!!! We also had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious and better prices than outside the hotel! For this price point you would expect much less, this hotel is beautiful and fantastic value.

The property is absolutely stunning – a true Florentine palazzo with breathtaking historical interiors and modern comfort. The suite was spacious, elegant, and beautifully decorated, combining heritage with luxury. Wow! Best choice we could have made. The apartment was so beautiful and spacious, and so close to everything!!! Imagine turning a corner or two to be faced with the Duomo!!! Amazing. The train station was only a few minutes away, so it was easy to get into Florence and also for day trips. Antonella the host was fantastic! Her guide book that she sent ahead of time was great, as were her recommendations. Always willing to answer questions and she even booked a transfer for us. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed ... we are so grateful to have met you and stayed at your beautiful home. She met us at check in and even helped us with suitcases up the stairs. Loved our stay! Hope to be back again :-)

Superb central location. Unusually modern, really clean apartment, well furnished and fully equipped with everything you need.
