The location is convenient, close to the train station and restaurants. An outstanding experience overall.

Offering a 300-metre long private lakeshore at Lake Locarno, the luxurious Castello del Sole features a spacious wellness centre with a gym, tennis courts and a golf course. There is not much to say about this place it is probably on of the best places to stay at the Lago Maggiore. Everything is perfect. Very friendly and professional staff.

Located directly on the shore of Lake Maggiore, a private bathing beach, the jetty with its own marina and garden, guest rooms and suites. The location was perfect right on the waters edge. The room was huge and had a small balcony which was very nice to sit out on.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay: the staff were so friendly and attentive, the views were gorgeous, the room was magnificent, the beds comfortable, and the spa was clean and quiet, with the massages so great and relaxing. We also loved the breakfast spread. It’s a nice stroll into town and the hotel is in a quiet area. Perfect for a getaway and melt away the stress! I definitely want to return and if you have any second thoughts about booking, just do it 😊
