Room was beautiful with terrace overlooking the water and shower with back jets - perfect for relaxing muscles after a day hiking.. Great atmosphere, super chilled and relaxed, restaurant was similar to an American lodge (but way cooler). Staff were so kind and accomodating and were great Ambassador's for Germany. Would definitely stay again. Great for those on the Harzer Hexensteig.

We were very impressed by the eye for detail, beautiful interior, rooms and outstanding service. The food, both breakfast and dinner, in their own restaurant were top notch. The Sauna area was also well considered, clean and never too crowded. Lovely quiet luxury kind of place we would visit again.

Room was immaculate and very clean and comfortable. Having access to wellness area. They had bike box storage for our bicycles which was great. Our room was outside the walls but this wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was great.

The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices at the buffet. The service at breakfast by the waitresses was very good. The location was excellent! The castle and the grounds are beautifully kept and inside was warm and cosy with lovely antique furnishings to fit the castle’s original era. Lots of attractions nearby! The location was fabululous. The apartment was second to none. The attention to detail was absolutely fantastic. Everything was thought of. I cannot think of anything that c ould have been improved.
