The shower is huge and even has a steam facility. There are loads of little appreciable extras like dressing gown and slippers etc etc. The staff are very reactive and helpful. Kastro Maini se nachází v samém srdci historického Areopolis, v centru Mani. Tradiční kamenná budova má bazén s hydromasáží a bazén pro děti. I had a lovely room with a wonderful sea view which captured perfect sunsets so was very happy with that outlook. The room and bathroom were both an adequate size with a little balcony with excellent drying facilities for wet bathers. The pool and area around it were spacious and very relaxing. The gardens were beautifully maintained. Breakfast had a wide choice and all well presented. An excellent stay and won't hesitate to book again if in that area.

We visited Gytheio during Christmas and it was a very nice experience for 83 euros including breakfast for two. The room was luxurious with great view at the third floor and the breakfast was very good too. The bed was very big and super comfortable. The bathroom had a weird layout and no noise and visibility separation, probably to look fancy under natural light. A light curtain would be useful. Balcony was huge if you visit during the summer. In general Gytheio is worth a visit during winter, you will avoid excessive heat and tons of tourists.
