Mount Juliet Estate is set in 500 acres of Irish Countryside. The historic estate is located in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and dates back to 1757. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I was with my Mother as a treat, staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. we ate dinner at the hound restaurant, food was fantastic. Room was clean and comfortable, even though we were close to the lobby it wasn’t noisy.

Faithlegg House Hotel is located on the River Suir Estuary, 5 miles from Waterford Airport. Attended a recent wedding in the hotel. The venue, staff and food was exceptional. Breakfast was beautiful, a lovely menu of hot breakfast choices to choose from, along with fresh juice. Food was a little slow, although it gave time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and enjoy the selection of yogurt, bread and pastries.

Set amidst 170 acres of parkland, Lyrath Estate Kilkenny is located on the outskirts of Kilkenny City. A fantastic property that overawes you as you enter the gates. The hotel is very well designed and the rooms are great. One should have sufficient time to enjoy the peroperty as it has a lot to offer. The restaurant was packed and obviously well thought of. We enjoyed the bar. A special hello to Max and Murphy!

With a history dating back to 1180, Kilkea Castle provides accommodation set on 180 acres of woodland, gardens and a golf course. I really like the venue I thought it was pretty cool that they made a hotel out of a castle without destroying the ambience
