First of all we felt very welcome. The staff (reception, restaurant, pool) was extremely attentive, the service was like in 5 star hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and super super clean (well done housekeeping 10/10!) Food was delicious! We would definitely come back again!

The hotel is central within easy reach of shops, eating places and beach. Would definitely recommend Thank you! And will certainly be back.

We stayed in this hotel in Aqaba and overall everything was very good. The staff were kind and professional, especially Raed, who was extremely helpful and always went above and beyond — because of him I give this hotel a 10/10 rating. However, there was one very disappointing experience. Earlier we had an issue in our room, and as compensation we were told that we could use the pool for free after 6 PM. When we went down at 7 PM to get the keys, we found the hotel owner’s wife preparing to use the pool with her friends/colleagues and we were not allowed to join. We ended up waiting until 11 PM to finally get access. As tourists, every hour of our trip was important, and losing four hours just waiting was frustrating. Being the owner’s wife should not mean using the facilities at the expense of paying guests. The hotel operates thanks to its guests, and the property should be managed with them in mind.

During my recent stay at the camp, I appreciated that the facilities were relatively clean, especially considering the desert environment. The staff tried their best to be friendly and welcoming. However, I felt that the level of professionalism could be improved. One point of concern was the extra hidden charge for bubble rooms and transportation to the camp. When I raised this issue, I was told that all camps follow similar practices. This highlights the need for government oversight to ensure transparency and fairness across the tourism sector. I understand the economic challenges facing the tourism industry in Jordan, but it’s clear that the Ministry of Tourism needs to play a more active role in regulating and organizing the business. Transparency is key—tourists should know exactly what they are paying for, and hidden fees should be eliminated. Overall, while the natural beauty of Wadi Rum, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of clarity, professionalism, and customer care.

Ayla Rum Luxury Camp se nachází v destinaci Wadi Rum a nabízí zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a bar. The location, the facilities, the food and the staff is really great. We booked it briefly before our arrival and the team and Yahia the manager managed to arrange for us a fun half-day tour and dinner. The room is very comfortable and affords a panoramic view of the wadi. We will stay here again. Highly recommended.
