This gorgeous property, located near national parks and a 20-minute drive from Sirigiya, offers a serene and peaceful retreat in the heart of Sri Lanka's natural beauty. The brand new spacious rooms at Manike Lodge are simply great. From comfortable beds to well-appointed bathrooms, every aspect of the rooms is designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests. One of the main highlights of Manike Lodge is the owner and host, Ishan. He is a true gem and goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have an amazing stay. Ishan is incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything you may need. His warm hospitality and genuine care for his guests make the stay at Manike Lodge truly special. Being near national parks, we had the opportunity to explore the stunning natural beauty of Sri Lanka up close. And with Sirigiya just a short drive away, the convenience of exploring this famous cultural landmark was great. The property itself is quiet, beautiful, and peaceful. Surrounded by lush greenery and offering a serene ambiance, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. I highly recommend staying at Manike Lodge for anyone looking for a truly relaxed experience in Sri Lanka.

Jeewa, Masha and Oleena are absolut delights. The place is located in a quiet part of habarana, very calming and relaxing with trees, flowers, birds. The rooms are big and convenient. And the best is the hospitality of the hosts, and how Jeewa helped me plan my days, always with the best experiences and best prices. I LOVED staying there. I will for sure go back if I come again to sri lanka !!

Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, greeting us with refreshing welcome drinks and even surprising us with a complimentary room upgrade to their beautiful pavilion. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The authentic dinner was absolutely delicious, and we’re already looking forward to returning—hopefully when it’s mango season so we can try their famous fresh mango curry! Thank you so much for such a memorable experience!

We were completely satisfied with everything. We loved the environment with all the greenery and flowers. Since we traveled by car, secure parking was important (falling mangoes and coconuts, animals, etc.), but there was no issue as we could park in their private yard. The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. :) On request, we were provided with dinner, and if we mentioned what we wanted to eat, that was also arranged (we absolutely love jackfruit curry ;) ). The room was a comfortable size and equipped with air conditioning and hot water. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and since we spent an Advent Sunday there, they helped us prepare the traditional decorations for the occasion. We had many conversations, and they truly did their best to assist us in every way possible. This wasn’t our first time in Sri Lanka, and they perfectly embodied the hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness that the island is known for. Since we spend some time here every year, we’ve found yet another place where we’re sure to return.

Woodland Sanctuary exceeded all our expectations! The wooden family suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and immersed in nature. Waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere was an unforgettable experience. The staff was extremely helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend!

The staff were super friendly at all times. We really loved the food, breakfast has a big variety of dishes and it was delicious! The bungalow is amazing too, a comfortable and beautiful place in the middle of nature with a private pool - we enjoyed a lot! I highly recommend!
