The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. I really liked the welcome they give u, all staff properly trained on guest care, as I arrived Kavisha was very welcoming and throughout my stay she was inquiring n getting feedbacks plus the new wing rooms were super luxurious and has the vibe of a modern hotel! Food was excellent as well!

The entire staff is kind and pleasant, and the service is incredibly efficient. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. There are plenty of options to spend extended time on-site, whether you want to enjoy the tranquility of nature or use the facilities like the gym, pool, or snooker table. We only wish we could have stayed more nights

When an elephant entered their garden at night, the host took a great care of our safety, but let us have a glimpse of it. Breakfast was good but I’d recommend you make it more fun It was our best stay in sri lanka so far, staffs were so good and the manager is a decent man We loved the waterfall activity arranged by hotel, Will definitely come again if ever visited Kandy thank you for making our vacation extra special

Loved absolutely everything! Location near the centre and near the local village, wonderful bliss, beautiful garden, in the middle of unspoiled nature. Owner and staff could not be more kind, attentive and went over and beyond expectations to make us feel welcome - gave good advice on our overall plans in Sri Lanka, showed around, organized transportation, visit to local village etc. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and just beautiful with everything you need - from European adapter to mosquito repellent. Food and drinks just lovely with both local and western options. Really 10 is not enough to rate this experience!
