The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. My stay exceeded my expectation. My room was upgraded, also when i came back to the room from the cold rain, found there was a hot water bag in the bed that was so sweet. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was perfect.

We loved every minute of our stay here… incredible views, beautiful surroundings, cosy cabins & attentive staff. We dined in the restaurant 2 nights and enjoyed fabulous meals. Lots of great options for breakfast also! The hotel is able to organise shuttles to and from the town.

Lizzy Wasi is a beautiful little hotel in Urubamba - the gardens are so beautiful and the alpacas are a real treat to hang around with. The property is a short walk into the town (10 mins). We wish that we'd spent more time there and also visited Luna's Horses next door!

It is the best place to get acclimatized. Big room, comfy bed. Breakfast- very good. Although pancakes should be a must - and they don’t have them :(

Located 10 metres from the Machupicchu train station, Casa del Sol Machupicchu offers free Wi-Fi and free shuttle services from Machupicchu Train Station. The museum area is 500 metres away. We had an amazing stay at Casa del Sol! The hotel team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even offered to meet us at the train station and show us where to buy tickets for Machu Picchu (though in our case, we already had someone helping us). As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted with a lovely surprise and a thoughtful compliment from the hosts. Our room was large, cozy, clean, beautiful, with a perfect view of the Urubamba river — truly stunning. We even had a pisco sour cocktail class and they have an amazing wellness zone! We stayed for two nights, and on the second day we visited Machu Picchu, where we got engaged! 💍When we returned to the hotel and the manager heard the news, they surprised us with cocktails, cake, and a warm message in Bulgarian — such a sweet and touching gesture that we will never forget. They truly made our engagement incredibly special, and without them it wouldn’t have been the same. Their kindness and attention to detail turned a wonderful moment into an unforgettable memory. The breakfast is amazing and if you dine at the hotel, you also get a 20% discount, and the food is absolutely delicious — highly recommended!

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

Aranwa is set on a sumptuous 17th century hacienda on the road to Machu Pichu. Luxurious facilities include a swimming pool, a spa featuring alternative medicine treatments and a museum. Such a beautiful property. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is lovely - serene and calm and the perfect place to stay for Sacred Valley. The gardens are very peaceful and quiet Our room was great - large and really well appointed and very relaxing. The breakfast was fantastic - lots of choice and the Spa was fantastic. The gym is also excellent. The team were all very good but a special mention to Andres, Luis, Wally and Diana who took great care of us and delivered exceptional personalised service. I had a treatment at the Spa with Yesica who was also fantastic .
