In general, the room was clean and well appointed and the food served for breakfast or for room service was great, but what really stood out was how warm and genuinely helpful the staff at Funny Lion were. Ms Val knew all guests by their names and greeted everyone cheerfully every day. Mr Ralph and Ms Zel really went the extra mile when I got injured during one of the tours too. All the other staff have also been helpful and attentive. We really appreciate every bit of our stay here! Will definitely choose Funny Lion again if we come back :)

They put a lot of thought and care into the whole experience and you can see they definitely care about the environment and ocean. I loved that the dive centre was on the resort, very easy just to wake up and do a dive each morning. The crew and boat was absolutely amazing. My friend doesn't dive but had a great time snorkeling with another guide at each dive spot. You can snorkel right in front of the resort which is all very untouched. The staff are absolutely lovely as well. Shout out to B who helped us with dinner each night. Food was also delicious.

Guests at Bebeladan Beach Eco-Resort, The Last Indigenous Corner can enjoy an à la carte breakfast. The staff are exceptional! Very welcoming, helpful and fun to have a chat with and the food is very good with great variety. The owner is a top chap and has done a great job with building this isolated resort with the local community. Make sure to have a beer or two with him when he's around.There's mangroves just around the corner and if you feel to paddle a bit further out you can reach cathedral cave (about 4kms) on one of the free kayaks they offer. Great place if you are looking for some calm and quiet from the usual crowded places and enjoy an amazing view and drinks in the pool! Highly recommended.
