Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Just perfect! Just out in the bush everything was clean and comfortable. The most friendly staff and a good kitchen. Great hiking possibilities as well to enjoy nature. They are building a new restaurant and will turn parts of the old restaurant/bar into rooms. Just hope they keep some parts of the current restaurant for a drink since it has the most beautiful views!

The property is in a beautiful location, isolated but not too hard to get to from the main road. Beautiful sea views in a tranquil area. I loved my stay here. There are trails to walk on the forest near the property and curious monkeys would show up in the morning to look at our chalet. Food in the restaurant was really good and I’ve also used the spa, which was amazing after a long flight. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and attentive. Wish I had time to stay longer and hope to come back one day. Book without thinking twice.

Tsitsikamma Lodge & Spa is situated on the Garden Route. Cosy, free-standing log cabins provide a sanctuary in the peaceful forest setting. The staff is super kind and always available to answer each and every question. The place is beautiful and peaceful, located in a very strategic area to visit all the best attractions of Tsitsikamma.

The sleeping area inside the cacoon is stable enough to have a good night's rest whilst still feeling that you are sleeping in a tree house. The hanging net between the leaves was our favorite area to relax and take it all in! Can't fault any of the facilties including the restuarant and bar
