Alma Hotel enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus stops. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

Fairly close (appx. 10 minute walk) to the main train station and within walking distance to all sights. Check in was smooth and efficient, room actually more spacious than thought and even had a very nice view. Stay was comfortable and breakfast delicious. Nothing to complain about at all, would love to come back any time.

The location was very convenient. Breakfast was good & Bar at the ground had good cocktails. The rooms were very comfortable and well maintained. I enjoyed the view from my room !

The room was beautiful, spacious, ours had a small balcony with a view on the yard. Very clean. Large enough parking, free for guests. Staff were rvery friendly, always available. All recommendations.

Hotel Wartmann is located in the centre of Winterthur, 50 metres from the train station and a 2-minute walk from the Old Town. The hotel is right opposite Winthertur Train Station. Was very convenient to move around. Comfortable and spacious room. The breakfast was adequate.
