There was great internet access and every room has a balcony with table and chairs if you are working online or just enjoying a quiet sunset. The pool was clean and brand new. Every room had a kettle and small fridge for snacks if you don’t want to eat out every meal. Breakfast was great and made fresh every day. More food than you could ever finish! When they open their restaurant, I’m sure it will be great, too.

It was clean, the staff was helpful, there are plenty of restaurants around, you can order you cocktail to your terrace, there are boat trips, snorkeling and diving opportunities around. The room looks like on the images, you can open your eyes in the morning and see the sunrise from your bed.

Cardamon Hotel Nilaveli se nachází v letovisku Nilaveli, 12 km od města Trincomalee. The location was wonderful! It was right on the beach and our rooms had a great view! We had dinner and breakfast there and both meals were delicious. I noticed some reviews complained about the food, but they have a new chef who is really great! The staff were excellent as well; they were extremely helpful and friendly. There was also a hotel cat who said hi to us in the morning (she was very friendly!).

I love coming here, this is my 3rd visit. I love the open space of the resort, the quite nature, the palm trees, the relaxed poolside, the beach views, the calm ocean is great for swimming. Everything about this resort is amazing for adults, this is my happy place to unwind and re-fill my cup. The staff are caring and kind, the food and cocktails at the beachside restaurant is delicious, we enjoyed beautiful soulful music by the very talented musician who plays multiple instruments. The buffet breakfast is to die for, so many delicious options and food choices. The rooms are simple, large and clean, with comfy beds and amazing views out to the pool / ocean. You can do as little or as much as you like, easy to ride into town and see the local sights or go snorkelling, diving or just relax.
