The staff was fantastic. One of the restaurant employees went out of his way to refill our water bottles during our first morning at breakfast. We discovered markets and were able to buy water for the remainder of our stay.
Lots of good restaurants are within walking distance, as is the waterfront. The Koi restaurant in the hotel was very good too.
We stayed at in a family suite. It had lots of nice amenities: robes, slippers, a Nespresso coffee maker, and cookies delivered every evening. The rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff was very accommodating.

Location is great! 5 min to the city centre. There is a bakery / pastry shop right next to it and it is open all night (we managed to get some food at 6 AM before going to the airport). The staff is super nice and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and many options, with cakes that would vary daily. The parking was a great perk considering that outside is all paid.

Out dated, many poor restaurants barely qualifying as Portuguese in nature. A lot of restaurants provided poor cooing skills ( i am a retired Executive chef of 40+ YEARS) Corrupt ATM machines, just like all over the EU, Tourist predators. Car rentals very cheap, however they don't recognize 3rd and 4th party Insurance...you damage your car you pay for all damages on the spot! Stores boring, very few pastry shops..only saw one. I was like going back 50 years in time

A very nice city with very friendly locals.
A very nice city with very friendly locals. I enjoyed every bit of the city. It was easy to plan an easy city hike in a day to see all the good spots. I would however recommend visiting outside of the peak season of tourists just to have a more relaxed experience of the city without the crowd and the spike in prices. and also, they mean it when they say it's a city where you experience all 4 seasons in a day XD

Very relaxed, chilly vibe.
Very relaxed, chilly vibe. Weather changes quickly with fresh blowing air and quite good prices in restaurants. The one and only minus is for transport which is cheap but not very frequent and reliable, ideally rent some kind of vehicle.

Not bad for its price. Horrible bed.
Not bad for its price. Horrible bed.
2nd night had such back and neck problems. Went to the hospital over dish. Did complain to front desk and they gave me a ice back.
Exrays said that my back muscles were cramped.
Hotel needs proper bed and pillows for their guest.
Also had my brother and sister in law and a friend staying at the hotel. They same complaint on beds and pillows.

Lovely town, very charming and well equipped.
Lovely town, very charming and well equipped. Especially if you want to take tours. The buses around the island are better and more dependable than the internet would have you believe. I had no problems
Breakfast was great, with a great view, and amazing food, and the owners were always up for a nice chat and also very helpful with recommendations and advice. I think it was probably the best inn I ever stayed at and there is definitely no other place I would want to stay when I visit the Azores. In case you want to rent a car, ask the owners because they know a place that will deliver the car and paperwork straight to the inn. Taxi from and to the airport is also cheap and convenient.
Pro tip: ask for the omelet for breakfast.
Quite unique place to stay. We stayed in Azores apartment for one week as a couple and it was really spacious. It would be a bargain for group of 4 or 6 people. Great host, very helpful with everything and easy to communicate. Cozy interior decor and fantastic , well equipped kitchen with a view from the top floor. Great location and large market right on the door step. Pick up for most of the tours from nearby hotel and about 20 minutes walk to the port and center of Ponta Delgada. We would definitely stay again.
I’m very grateful for front desk host. I arrive with My 1 year old and she was beyond comprehending. I was leaving early next day for flight and She gave me a tray of snacks and sandwich for Me and My Son and I hope She understands how much this little act helped as those snacks helped My Son when He needed something to eat between meals on our trip in Pico! She is so sweet and accommodating, one of the best places I’ve stayed in Portugal and there’s even a elevator!!! She called me a taxi which was so sweet
We liked everything in the hotel - cleanliness, condition of the room, friendliness of the personnel and their desire to help in our comfort stay and to recommend us best sightseeings and ways to get there.
The only problem we experienced was that: our rooms windows are on the Rua da Contador side, and it was very noisy. There is a 24/7 working bakery, and its workers loudly speak and yell all the night.
Except this circumstance, we were very much satisfied with our stay in the hotel.
I had an accommodation in Canadiano Urban Nature hotel in period between September 3 and September 11, 2023.
Everything was extraordinary and great: locaton, accomodation, food, personnel. Specially, I need to say big thank you to Maria Rodrigues, front office. If you are in some kind of dilemma and unknowledge, she is the person on which you can rely in every situation. She made my time on Azores unforgettable and beautiful.
Thanks a lot and best regards from Belgrade (Serbia)
Spacious and clean room located near the airport, very convenient for either an early departure or late arrival in Ponta Delgada. The host, Pedro, was extremely helpful, gave us a lot of insights on what to do, recommended us transportation methods to get around and even helped us with the car rental - our holiday in Sao Miguel wouldn't have been possible without his help. Very good value for money and excellent customer service.
The staff were the very best. Just the most friendly, accommodating people you could ask for. The room was clean and the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom spacious and immaculate. The kitchen was handy for taking breakfast upstairs to eat in our room. The location of the hotel was central in Ponta Delgada and easily walkable to taxi stands and bus stops to explore things out of town.
At first, I was hesitant booking this hotel and had a totally different place in mind but now I can surely say that Nine dots is a nine star hotel without any doubt! From the minute we arrived until we left, everything was absolutely exceptional: the facility itself ( rooms, restaurant, spa area), service and location.. This hotel is a hidden gem right in the center of Ponta Delgada!
Great location, great facilities, beautiful garden, close to beach. we brought our family and stayed in 2 rooms. The rooms were large with lots of light. Kitchen was big and well equipped. 3 bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get showers etc. We walked to the beach nearby and to restaurants nearby. Took a bus into downtown ponta delgada.
The location was great for us. I liked that we were so close to everything that we wanted. The staff were all kind and helpful. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the hotel. We live on Sao Miguel and will return here a few times during the year to stay since we live in Nordeste a good distance and we do not want to drive home after drinking.
The location in Ponta Delgada is great! It is very easy to walk around to restaurants, bars and sites around the city. The hotel has free parking on site (though spots are limited and first come, first served), which makes it convenient to have a car during your stay, so that you can explore the rest of the island easily too.
Location is great ~ 15mints by car to Ponta Delgada, 2 minutes walking to some great beaches and just 20minutes from some of the most amazing landscapes views and thermal pools.
The facilities are very well done and maintained; and the staff is really nice. They replace the pool towels almost everyday, which is really nice.
Great location in the center of Ponta Delgada. Nice historical building. We got "Sao Miguel" room - it was huge! Bed was comfortable. We arrived early in the morning even before the attached cafe opens, and the hostess provided us with the door code so we were able to leave our luggage there till check-in time.
well-equipped kitchen, great for hanging out. They even provided some necessities like milk, cereals, butter etc. Private room was huge and great view over the little pedestrianized street below.
Location is the best in Ponta Delgada!
Best place we stayed in Azores, clean and cozy rooms, good breakfast, helpful and nice staff.
Overall a great choice to stay if you have a car or are planning on taking taxis and buses to move around.
Would 100% repeat.
This hotel made dealing with a canceled flight and an extra night in the Azores worth it. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and I had one of the best massages (Biana rocks!) of my life!
Breakfast was incredible- The best breakfast I’ve ever had at any hotel.Room and view couldn’t be any better. This hotel really made our experience in the Azores phenomenal.
