The boutique 4-star Hotel do Canal is situated in Horta on Faial Island. It is just 100 metres from the beach and offers panoramic views of Pico Mountain and the bay. The location was excellent right next to the harbour and the whale watching facilities which is the main reason we went to this hotel. Really good restaurants within walking distance.

Breakfast was wonderful, with an abundance of choices offered. My knees were sore after some hikes and the staff was able to provide ice for me. We also were easily able communicate with the staff.

Linnavaatega Casa Rua Velha asub Hortas, 300 meetri kaugusel Praia da Conceição rannast ja 2,6 km kaugusel Praia do Almoxarife rannast. Praia de Porto Pim on korterhotellist 2,8 km kaugusel. nice little apartment near the ferry terminal. well equipped, we had a very pleasant stay. thanks for the fruits and wine!

Casinha das Hortênsias asub Hortas. Kohapeal on konditsioneeri, terrassi ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega majutusruumid. Very nice apartment just a short drive from Horta and a perfect base for exploring Faial. Beds were super comfortable and the apartment was clean and pretty, Definitely recommended!

Largo Bispo Boutique Hostel asub Hortas, 500 meetri kaugusel Praia da Conceição rannast ja 2,6 km kaugusel Praia do Almoxarife rannast. The location is very good with respect to all Govt. Offices, Local Transport, Taxies, Rent A Car, fuel Station, Sea Transport, Bicycle Stands, ATM Machines, Supper Markets, All kind of Shops for Shopping, Cafeterias, Restaurants, Parks, Beach, & Tourists Attractions. All these things are under the radius of 100 to 200 Meters or Maximum 300 Meters. The airport is 10 KM Away which is not much Far. It's Cool & Calm Area with Cool & Calm Accommodation with all necessary facilities. I simply recommend you due to its reasonable prices against all above mentioned. I will preferably book it again & again whenever I go to Horta.

It was an amazing place with a great view and the hotel was clean and nice to stay upto 4 beds but we were only 3 ppl and it was equipped with everything we needed like for the kitchen, we had oven, microwave oven, stove, cups, plates dining area, etc. More than expected. Nice shower area as well. Really loved the whole vibe around me. The açores islands are amazing and worth a visit.

Alice's House asub Hortas, Praia da Conceição rannast vaid 1,8 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on merevaatega majutusruumid, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Aiavaatega majutusasutusel on rõdu. Needless to say the VIEW!!! I couldn’t believe my luck when I entered my very spacious and comfortable room and saw that view from the French door and the terrace! I had the sunrise, the full moon, glorious Pico, the sea, the meadows, the birds, the lights of the port all in one amazing picture right in front of me. The weather was on my side too! I always close all shutters and go for the dark when I sleep, but not at Alice’s house! Impossible to block the view! The room itself was also perfect, comfy bed, two types of pillows (memory/hard and soft), spacious wardrobe and chest of drawers, TV (not essential for me but there is one), excellent shower, very hot water, BIDET! And in the communal living room: extra towels, hair dryers, coffee and tea and biscuits, kettle, mugs, glasses, fridge. Perfect for breakfast (I didn’t use this facility but I appreciated that it was available). You can par on the road (which is on the way to the Caldera, by the way) or in her parking space in front of the house (steep entrance). On arrival I was welcomed by Alice, super nice and super cool! I saw her just on arrival but if I needed anything, she left her number in the room. So lucky to have stayed in her beautiful house! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
