The room, food, decor, location, atmosphere, all spot on! but what really made this place great was the staff, all so kind and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a smile. This 4-star hotel is situated close to Vila do Porto, a 10-minute drive from the airport, the mountain and the beach of Praia Formosa. Traveling with My 1 year old and arriving early, check in wasn’t for a decent amount of time but they were able to thankfully get Me a room ready within a hour and a half. Comes with breakfast. Has a bar and food available for lunch or dinner. There is a kids room which I enjoyed. Not far of a walk from the center and was nice to see the animals. Beautiful view from room!

QUINTA DO FALCÃO has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Almagreira. With garden views, this accommodation features a patio. The country house has private entrance. The views are beautiful from all angles! Sandra is very lovely and helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations, thank you! We really enjoyed our rooms and the ease of cooking - the location and safety are perfect!

A recently renovated holiday home set in Vila do Porto, Cosy Private Cottage w/sea views & wifi features a garden. The property features garden and quiet street views. The place is amazing. Aideen is great. If you're looking for a place that's kind of isolated on your own hill top in the middle of nowhere, yet just up the hill from a small town with a great restaurant, look no further. Awesome sunrise when you wake up in the morning. Beautiful stars at night.

Casa dos Valentes is set in Santo Espírito. This holiday home offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. We really enjoyed our stay in this very clean, nicely furnished, fully equipped traditional house located in the peaceful countryside just outside Santo Espirito. Everything for a comfortable visit is provided, including a good WiFi connection and a gift of local artisanal bread, jam, and cookies. The hosts, Catarina and Pedro, live close by and are friendly and accommodating. An early arrival was no problem, and when the weather forecast called for heavy rain the day of our departure, they offered to let us to stay later so we could relax in comfort before our flight. We highly recommend Casa dos Valentes!

The host is very nice. I loved everything: the view from the windows, the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, the chosy sleeping room, the warm welcome.
