Very smooth and relaxed checkin, the hotel is walking distance from Salzburg airport so is very convenient for a stop over before making our onward journey. The kids loved the breakfast and made us promise to stay again if we're in the area again in the future.

Madlhof offers accommodations in Himmelreich, 1.3 miles from Klessheim Castle and 2.8 miles from Europark. This condo hotel features free private parking, an elevator, and free Wifi. Wow, everything about the Madlhof was perfect. Hidden away in Austrian farmland, this property exceeded our expectations! It was incredibly clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. The shop downstairs with local goodies was very useful too. There's a bus stop ~10 mins walk away, which in heavy snow was difficult but very enjoyable passing by the cows and local farms. I can't wait to come back and stay again.

This modern, quietly located 3-star hotel is part of the Wals Trade Center and is just off the A1 motorway and only 2625 feet from Salzburg Airport. The room was big, clean and had all the amenities. I stayed one night while travelling through the highway. It was easy to get to, and the parking is big, safe and free. I really liked the bathroom, especially the lighting and the magnifying mirror – it is probably the first time I have seen my face in such detail.

Haus Kernstock is minutes away from the Hangar-7 with its famous Ikarus Restaurant and 1.9 mi from the Salzburg Airport. It’s a nice little place, very clean. We had 2 single rooms for my granddaughter and me. No breakfast, but didn’t expect it. It’s at the end of the street, turning the car around is a bit of work. We were looking for a simple inexpensive base for exploring Salzburg and the surrounding area, not a destination hotel with lots of services, it was just what we needed. Laundry service is available for 8 euro a load.

Elmi 22 is located in Wals, just a 19-minute walk from Klessheim Castle and 3.3 miles from Europark. Both free Wifi and private parking are accessible at the apartment free of charge. A modern home away from home. Everything you need in an apartment. We stayed for 4 nights, which was more than enough to explore Salzburg. Our daughter was most impresed by the remote control for the window shades, therefore she was the apartment sherif for light and shade. Our son was impresed by the PS4 (altough it didn't work), he used the controler to save the world :-). But we definitly apreciate Monopoly, because we all evolved into modern kapitalist.
