best location (and views) in Malta you could ever imagine... that was much beoynd expected! Regina apartment was a very spacious, relaxed place, two bathrooms were very clean and convenient! Ballcony/ies were amazing, too! Proximity to everything, Gozo ferry, three cities boat-taxies, buses, museums, cafes, etc.... but in the same time a very calm and quiet corner of the old city...

Great location, tipical Maltese house, it would be perfect for 2 people, we were 4 so the children slept in the living room on a couch but i knew that before, we were all day around outside so it didnt matter but this bed is better for younger children. The beds in bedroom were great. We mostly ate outside and didnt cook. The owners did some shopping for us (upon request) because we arrived late at night so we had enough food for breakfast on the first day and that was great.Communication with the host great, although we never saw each other:) We were on the first floor. There were also these steep stairways from our bedroom leading the roof terrace, really cute, although you may feel a bit dizzy once you come to the top:)

All these reviews that say nice things about this apartment and the host, Patrick, having just returned from a 9 day stay, I confirm they are totally true. This apartment is exactly like the photos. (We were in the top apt) and is huge for a holiday apartment – 100 M sq = 1076 ft sq. Although it was built in the 19th century, and still retains some of the old charm, it is fitted with modern kitchen fitted with everything you might need, and modern bathroom. That shower–wow– it’s a waterfall type shower with fantastic water pressure. Also this apartment has a washing machine but no dryer, as expected. The bedroom was comfortable and had a lovely little “gallarija” a Maltese closed balcony, which was outfitted with clotheslines, so that solved that. A great update is the modern elevator in the building. Much appreciated. The rooftop terrace – I should say, terraces- took my breath away. They are on two levels and there are 3 seating areas on the lower one, so there is plenty of space for everyone. If it gets too hot inside, note the apartment is fitted with modern air conditioning units. Note to North Americans – there is switch next to the stove to turn on the electricity. It says Hob/Cooker. The hob are the burners and the cooker is the oven. To paraphase G. B. Shaw - we are separated by a common language. Note on location: you can’t do better. It is a couple of minutes away from a gorgeous park with an outside cafe overlooking the harbour, and it's a couple of minutes to the main streets. It's also very quiet. We were there during Carnival - like Mardi Gras, and didn't hear anything. Patrick is deservedly proud of his holiday home and he takes good care of it and his guests. Thank you again for your edibles greeting us on arrival Patrick. Saħħa!
