Nasser, the manager, consistently checked in to ensure my satisfaction. Another staff member even went out of their way to take me to a nearby pizza shop at night when I expressed hunger. This hotel offered not just accommodation but a truly exceptional and caring experience.

In November/December we stayed three weeks in the beautiful Blue Nile House in a great apartment: spacious, clean, with three balconies and great views over grasslands, corn and rice fields, and the river Nile. Our host, Sayed, and his team are very kind and most helpful. The daily breakfast under the beach umbrella near the swimming pool was something to look forward to every morning. For dinner there was a varied menu of delicious Egyptian meals to choose from. The somewhat remote location of the hotel (distance to the ferry is 2,8 km) guarantees a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. There are several possibilities to visit the ancient Egyptians monuments. Sayed can arrange for taxis and excursions by car, and there are lots of tuktuks on the road. We hired two bikes for three weeks at Mohammed Satohe’s ‘Bicycles for hire’ in the village to visit the Valley of the Kings, the temples and tombs on the West Bank, following good Dutch tradition. The home owners were really nice, kind and friendly! They helped us with our living and travelling. They booked taxi for us at a reasonable price and even drove us to restaurants and the port by motorbike for free! They even provided breakfast of the next day beforehand since our flight was early. The hotel was awesome with a large living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms, located in a tranquil and beautiful village and silent at night.

The accommodation has a spa bath and a hot tub. The apartment features family rooms. Ahmed is an incredibly attentive and kind host, he helped with anything we asked for and responded immediately. The place was immaculate and very spacious, the kitchen is very well equipped (sugar, tea, oil, spices, bin bags etc), the bed is comfy, the street is quiet, the AC works well, wifi 10-16Mbs. Good location to get to Karnak temple fast, small shops, bakery and fruit stall nearby. Nice touch with the complementary bananas, tea and coffee. We loved the place and would gladly stay again!
