Sail Lofts biedt uitzicht op de zee, een restaurant en gratis WiFi. De accommodatie is goed gelegen in Douglas, op korte afstand van Douglas Beach, Manx Museum en Gaiety Theatre. I travel a lot for work and stay in loads of hotels and apartments, mainly booked on Booking.com and Airbnb. Most are OK, some not great, but few are truly exceptional. The Sail Lofts are firmly in the exceptional category. The accommodation was excellent - comfortable and smartly furnished, the location was outstanding, the breakfast provided (in advance) was the best I've ever seen, and the stay was great value for money. Truly a (very rare) 10/10 for me, by far and away the best spot in Douglas that I've stayed - and there have been many!

Het Waterfront Apartments bevindt zich op het eiland Isle of Man, bij de jachthaven van Douglas, en beschikt over accommodatie met eigen kookgelegenheid en gratis WiFi in het hele gebouw. The apartment (no 2) was perfect. Everything you could need for a self catering holiday, but why would you cook when there are so many great places to eat within a stones throw away?. The apartment is comfy, cosy, spacious, modern, clean, centrally located to cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, bus and rail station, sea terminal, Tesco and the Co-op. We visited 3 restaurants and all were exceptional - Little Fish Cafe for brunch, Mrs Yangs for one evening meal, and Isola on our second evening. Food and service in all were fabulous. We also played pool at The Bridge Pub, which was fun. This was a "Staycation" for us so we are very familiar with the area, which meant we didn't feel under pressure to site see, and could totally relax when in the apartment. The reception team were marvellous. Sorted a tiny issue (blown bulb) within minutes, and then also offered a late check out too. With an already early check in, we definitely got absolute value for money for our stay. If it wasn't for family commitments, we would have asked to stay another night. 100% recommend and can't wait to visit again.

The Cottage, Bridge House heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een patio en een waterkoker, op ongeveer 12 minuten lopen van Laxey Wheel. Just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at The Cottage. This is a beautifully presented quirky one bedroom cottage, perfect for the two of us. Upon arrival The Cottage was immaculate & is very well supplied with everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is instant hot water even when heating isn't on, shower has great water pressure too. There is a small private patio area off the kitchen which we didn't use during our stay but in height of summer will be a lovely place to sit. The cottage is alongside the electric railway embankment & viaduct; we believe the cottage was there long before the railway (very slight noise as the train passes, but not intrusive at all). Approx a 10 mins walk to Laxey Beach which when we were there the sun was shining & the bay was a busy & happy place. We used (for the first time) public transport into Douglas, buses were every half hour up until 10pm, then hourly (good app available to check times etc). Short walk up some slightly steep hills onto the main road where there's local shops, pubs the electric railway & where you pick up public transport. Highly recommend & would definitely look at staying here again next time we're on the island.

Halvard Apartments at Castletown is gelegen in Castletown, op een paar minuten lopen van Castle Rushen en 22 km van TT Grandstand. De accommodatie biedt uitzicht op de zee en gratis WiFi. The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. It was wonderfully clean and high quality with everything we could have needed including the small important things we always forget in self-catering - washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc. Asma and Lisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. A perfect stay, thank you so much.

The Elms Apartments Ramsey Isle of Man UK ligt in Ramsey, op 16 km van Laxey Wheel, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de tuin. The apartment was very nice, in a good location. David, the house host was extremely helpful. I would recommend this place and it's worth the money.

The Apartment, Bridge House ligt in Laxey, op slechts 1,7 km van Laxey Beach, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de rivier. The Apartment had every amenity you could wish for, a real home from home, loved the welcome tea and coffee set up and the hot water bottles were most welcome. The views from every window were spectacular all furniture, bedding was to a high standard. The jet tub was sheer luxury 😌

The Workshop, Bridge House is gelegen in Laxey, op 12 minuten lopen van Laxey Wheel, 10 km van TT Grandstand, en 32 km van Castle Rushen. Fabulous place, very welcoming, clean and comfortable.
