The place is amazing. Lovely owners who did take care of every detail. The beds are so comfortable, we really needed a good night sleep after we had a lot of hard beds in other hotels/rooms. The wifi is good and its nice to watch something on the big sofa.

The owner has made the cottage very homely with everything you need for your stay. Instructions & information provided were great. Bridgnorth is a lovely town with loads of pubs & cafes. Best pub we found was the Shakespeare inn. Best value pub for drink was The Bear, £10 for two pints of Bass & two glasses of wine. Would definitely visit again.

The Chillington Hall is within 35 km of the apartment. The property is non-smoking and is set 8.8 km from Telford International Centre. This was a great spot once we located it and found a neighbor who knew where we were trying to land. The accommodations were perfect for the three of us. It's a gorge so I can't complain about the hike up from the main sttreet.

Spacious living area and the kitchen was well stocked with equipement. After initially getting the wrong appartment, we were quickly relocated to the right appartment. The customer service was excellent, thank you Helen and Seb. After settling into Stables No. 1, we really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, very near to a Sainsbury and also Ludlow town. It was also close to nearby relatives in Whitton, who we were here to see and celebrate a family occasion with. The grounds were very pleasant to stroll around. The river walk was resplendant with daffodils and narcissus. And in the morning the dawn chorus was lovely to hear. It was very peaceful. We had a furry friend stay for two of the three night stay, Finbar the Irish Terrier. The property is dog friendly, which was an added bonus for our family who joined us from Devon.

We were able to get a few requested items such as locally produced meat and charcoal during our stay, and also breakfast, which was available made by the host or ingredients could be provided. The Hobbit house is beautiful and very unique and homely compared to other similar properties. Pictures don't do it justice! It had a lovely cosy feel and wonderful view of fields and hills. We visited to relax, and that's exactly what we did! Views of the night sky were breathtaking- and in the night you might get to hear tawny owls and pheasants. It was very easy to imagine yourself having retreated totally from the busy world, but help from the hosts was there if you needed it, and small town Clun is accessible by car for any necessities. The toilet was a composting toilet and very easy to get used to, and a handy shower too. Cooking facilities included a single hob and wood burning stove inside, and the balcony housed a barbecue and a burner stove as well. The perfect place for a relaxing getaway, it would be ideal for anyone wanting to reset, and also writers and artists.
