The spa facilities were incredible, from the changing rooms to the jacuzzi and everything in between. The ice room was my favourite. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The treatments were varied and so relaxing. I have allergies and they were so careful with me, I felt safe in their hands.

It is a relatively short walk to downtown and the marina, where you can get to some of the best sights in the general area via a bus/car drive or ferry/boat ride. The owner/managers are a pleasant and helpful couple and they the provide the best breakfast we've ever had in our travels. The room was charming and the bed was very comfortable.

Unlike some of the old seaside places in desperate need of refurbishment, Crimdon Dene has been done up to look smart and spotlessly clean. The owners are Nepalese and extremely hospitable and seem to go out of their way to ensure guests are happy. We were kindly offered a lift to the station and also I was able to get a late breakfast sandwich each day as I'm not an early riser, which was greatly appreciated. It is in a quiet location.

Walking distance to a lovely sandy calm beach- perfect for my little one. Free parking right outside (for 2 cars) which is a bonus as it’s chargeable on the street. All amenities in the kitchen and big bathtub and bathroom with shower too. The host was fab and was really helpful- he provided a travel cot and high chair for us, and let us park for slightly longer on check out. Apps on the TV like Netflix. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again.

The breakfast was well-organised, well-cooked, tasty, and filling with a few options available. The location is great, with 5mins walk to the shopping centre or to the beach/seaside. There is living room, patio and bar available for those that want to have a quiet evening in. All the facilities and carpets were clean. The owner is also ensuring that there is no noise from guests after 10.30pm, which I really appreciated. :)
