We had a great stay, the host was very warm and welcoming. The rooms were impeccable clean, and nicely decorated. Authentic French atmosphere. Big plus for the generous high quality breakfast, which is served in separate tea rooms!

Unbelievable place. Beatiful in every single aspect. From the fine decoration to the view of the room looking to the beach, staying here was a wonderful surprise, and made me wish I could have stayed longer. The breakfast was superb, the beds super comfortable. The owner is very careful with the details. He suggested the place to eat, showed us our rooms, and made us feel very at ease. The bathroom is incredibly beautiful, something I only see in magazines. Staying here was a highlight in our trip.

The location was great, in the country in a 16th-century farmhouse, but a short drive to Grandcamps Maisy, a sweet seaside village with a great supermarket and several wonderful restaurants. The couple who run the Ferme were awesome, super helpful and friendly, and provided very good continental breakfasts with local products.

This was the perfect location to stay while I was attending the 80th Commemoration. It was peaceful, close to everything without getting stuck due to security restrictions, and offered wonderful hosts and breakfast. The hosts were so helpful and even helped us secure dinner reservations. The pictures just don’t do this place justice. The rooms are large and comfortable! We can’t wait to come back with our daughter in a couple of years!

The Spirit of 1944 is an exceptional location to visit all of Normandy. The hotel pays great homage to WW2 with wonderful memorabilia, and atmosphere. Situated near where an old airfield was established, the owners regale visitors with stories of the property and the area during WW2. The rooms are extremely comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was delightfully homemade with local products in their beautiful kitchen. We look forward to a return trip!
