Very cool HISTORIC manor in a totally adorable small village. The place oozes with history! We didn’t use the gardens & sauna because it was raining and we were tired but both looked nice. Great area, so many cute villages in that area to explore. The lady that runs was friendly and gave us a nice little tour when we first arrived. Her English was pretty good. She made a dinner reservation for us at a nice (good value for the money) restaurant, in a village about 15 minute drive away. Great meal. Our room has some lovely old art in it. Good, private parking.

It was lovely sitting outside having a beer and in the morning, having breakfast on the terrace. The room was on the small side, but quiet and perfectly comfortable. Excellent shower and lovely fluffy towels. The staff were polite and helpful. We were going to an event nearby so did not sample the very pleasant terrace restaurant, but it looked to be a lovely place to dine.KateYoung couple

Anne and Bruce are charming and attentive hosts who advised us where to eat and even booked a table for us. We had an amazing coupe of days there.
