The grand 19th Century manor house has been refurbished and rejuvenated and is set in a convenient location to enjoy all that Hobart has to offer. The Rivulet (formerly Amberley House) is only 2 km from historic Battery point and vibrant Salamanca Square and 3 km from Constitution Dock. The rooms were impeccably decorated romantic renaissance décor. The bed was incredibly comfy and heated for weary bones. The bathroom was immaculate and clean. Location was ideal for exploring that particularly historic section of Hobart. A well rounded breakfast that included smoked salmon, hot and cold breakfast items. Very complete.

At the bed and breakfast, each unit has bed linen and towels. We were very surprised to learn that Nina was from our country of residence. She was very welcoming and answered all of the questions we had about the town, culture, and near-by activities. The garden is beautifully decorated and offers a lovely view from outside of our room. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. lovely. nothing to be complained about.

The breakfast was fabulous and they just recently started offering dinner. Not yo be missed.
