I had a great conversation with Dusa, who I share many experiences with as we are both from the former Eastern bloc.

The Stables Kings Ripton is situated just outside Huntingdon in the grounds of a Georgian farmhouse. Both rooms feature a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Was spotlessly clean & almost everything looked new.

The setting is idyllic. Our room was incredibly comfy after a half day hiking - loved the deep bath and good quality bedding. Dinner was very tasty, great drinks and a lovely atmosphere. The Red Cow pulls off being both a real pub in the community and pretty upmarket place to stay.

The details in this little house were to die for…from the decorations all the way to the handles. Also, Jo has thought about everything we might need. our stay was beautiful!
