The staff were so warm and welcoming after our long drive from Cafayate. They have excellent bottled wine at reception and also delicious empanadas. The large room has every convenience and comfortable bed. Also, a private terrace with table & chairs. The breakfast is extensive and delicious including the coffee! We liked the hotel so much that we returned early from Humahuaca to spend an extra night. I highly recommend this hotel in quiet San Lorenzo rather than Salta for anyone traveling up to see the Humahuaca sites.

The hotel employees were very kind and helpful at all times. We had scrambled eggs for breakfast! Though a bit on the dry side, it was the only place in our tour of the Argentine Northwest where we could have them. We definitely will return!

Eventually they called back and said we could stay and then waited for us to arrive. They provided extra bedding and stayed late for us which was very kind. Problem with Bookingcom rather than them I think but far from ideal.
