In a lovely spot overlooking the ferry at Armadale. The place is ideal for those who want something just a little more adventurous. Although it had rained and the ground was damp, it stayed dry while we were there; heavy rain would certainly change the experience. Ludwig was very helpful and efficient.

The house was beautifully decorated, quiet, and wonderfully located (especially helpful if you're taking the Armadale ferry anywhere). The kitchen was well appointed, and we really appreciated the basics left behind for us to use (salt, oil, etc). Loved having so much room and the bathroom was beautiful (fabulous shower)

Sally and Donald were lovely hosts. Sally gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. Byre 7 was just what we were looking for. A million dollar view with all the modern amenities. We took an hour walk over the hills to a secluded white sand beach and took a refreshing wild swim. Sally was kind enough to send us the tide table to ensure we were there around low tide. Would highly recommend Byre 7 if you're looking to get away from it all.

Still, they accepted to take orders for dinner (there are also no other options around), and accepted also unique requirements. The rooms were very clean, and the bed was very comfortable (as opposed to other hotels we stayed in) For us the location was perfect as we took the ferry the next day, which is located 2 minutes driving from the hotel.SharonsGroup

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who had to deal with a very awkward guest who's dog was yapping (actually screeching!) and disturbing other guests. They were very tactful and apologetic (even though it wasn't their fault) and dealt with the guest diplomatically. The peaceful location literally within walking distance of the ferry was beautiful and we will definitely be back to explore the surrounding quiet area of Skye.JanetPeople with friends
