Ashfield Guesthouse is gelegen in Douglas, op 12 minuten lopen van Douglas Beach, en biedt een gedeelde lounge, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Wendy the host was lovely, very chaty and very welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. A plus was a lovely cooked breakfast every morning. Definitely booking again for next year xx

Sail Lofts biedt uitzicht op de zee, een restaurant en gratis WiFi. De accommodatie is goed gelegen in Douglas, op korte afstand van Douglas Beach, Manx Museum en Gaiety Theatre. I travel a lot for work and stay in loads of hotels and apartments, mainly booked on Booking.com and Airbnb. Most are OK, some not great, but few are truly exceptional. The Sail Lofts are firmly in the exceptional category. The accommodation was excellent - comfortable and smartly furnished, the location was outstanding, the breakfast provided (in advance) was the best I've ever seen, and the stay was great value for money. Truly a (very rare) 10/10 for me, by far and away the best spot in Douglas that I've stayed - and there have been many!

Inglewood ligt in Douglas, op slechts 30 meter van de zee. Het biedt uitzicht op zee, 24-uursparkeergelegenheid en gratis WiFi. Hele vriendelijke, warme ontvangst, behulpzaam. Fijne kamer, met aandacht voor details. Goede locatie. Prima ontbijt!

The Devonian ligt op 2 minuten lopen van het strand, en het biedt landschapstuinen en uitzicht over de Glen Falcon. Friendly and helpful staff, easy location, good breakfast. I could even see the Irish Sea from my room. No need to pay for a luxury hotel.

The Cottage, Bridge House heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een patio en een waterkoker, op ongeveer 12 minuten lopen van Laxey Wheel. Just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at The Cottage. This is a beautifully presented quirky one bedroom cottage, perfect for the two of us. Upon arrival The Cottage was immaculate & is very well supplied with everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is instant hot water even when heating isn't on, shower has great water pressure too. There is a small private patio area off the kitchen which we didn't use during our stay but in height of summer will be a lovely place to sit. The cottage is alongside the electric railway embankment & viaduct; we believe the cottage was there long before the railway (very slight noise as the train passes, but not intrusive at all). Approx a 10 mins walk to Laxey Beach which when we were there the sun was shining & the bay was a busy & happy place. We used (for the first time) public transport into Douglas, buses were every half hour up until 10pm, then hourly (good app available to check times etc). Short walk up some slightly steep hills onto the main road where there's local shops, pubs the electric railway & where you pick up public transport. Highly recommend & would definitely look at staying here again next time we're on the island.

Halvard Apartments at Castletown is gelegen in Castletown, op een paar minuten lopen van Castle Rushen en 22 km van TT Grandstand. De accommodatie biedt uitzicht op de zee en gratis WiFi. The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. It was wonderfully clean and high quality with everything we could have needed including the small important things we always forget in self-catering - washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc. Asma and Lisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. A perfect stay, thank you so much.
