Boasting a bar and views of lake, Rivalago B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Located 48 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Lago Maggiore Bay offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a private beach area and pool with a view. I liked everything about this property from saying hi at the reception until leaving the property. It was really amazing. Villa Vittoria offers accommodation in Stresa. The property has lake and garden views. All rooms have a balcony with mountain views. Very comfortable and clean. Great terrace with lake view. Also lake was viewed from all the rooms. Very pleasant and polite hosts. Easy to get to Stresa, just 15 min walking and you are on the boat stations and Lungo Lago

Al San Michele features rooms in Stresa. This guest house offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. Everything is just wonderful in this lovely house. It's super cozy, clean and bright. Location is more than perfect just across the lake and the ferry stop and 5 mins from city center as well. The stuff is extremely kind and welcoming. Would definitely go there again. Sempione Boutique Hotel has it all: perfect location in Stresa, in the first line at the lake, amazing rooftop with a view, very kind, helpful and professional staff, comfortable, modern and very clean rooms, excellent breakfast. Although travelling with a little baby and faced with all possible challenges of a young family, we spent there a wonderful, relaxing time. Thank you!

Located in Cannobio, in a historic building, 14 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Ca Meison is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a private beach area and free bikes. Everything was prefect. The house, the breakfast, the location, Francesca and her Mom were outstanding and nothing was too much to ask.
