The property really exceeded our expectations. From looking at the photos online we just expected a nice and clean room to spend the first nights on the Azores. But it turns out they also had a beautiful garden, organized a great breakfast every morning with other people and scheduled some tours. The room was also bigger than expected (although our host told as at arrival that we had the biggest room, so that was maybe just luck.) with nice furniture and a very comfortable bed. Strongly recommended! :)

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They made it a priority to get our room ready early after a long flight and they had great recommendations for food. Definitely try Borda d’agua for delicious fish right in Lagoa. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. The hotel was so central to all things we did on the island. The free breakfast was good! I would definitely stay here again!

The manager, Mr Alexandru Daralta, was very nice to us, giving us an update to the junior suite, which was spectacular. I would suggest to stay at this place, when coming to Sao Miguel, cause it's right in the city center and the hotel is super nice. We did not had the chance to try the breakfast, as we left early in the morning. This will be our base camp if we come back again on the island. :)

Grand hotel that I think has only recently opened. Lovely views of Monte Brasil. Has a swimming pool. Spacious airy feel to the place and interesting history. Staff are very helpful, professional and friendly. Very personalised feel to the place due to high staff/guest ratio; were able to assist me a lot. Nice breakfast. Large area in front of entrance to park car.

This was an exceptional experience! The room was spacious, clean, modern, comfortable and very well isolated form the outside noises. Even there were construction work nearby we never heard any noise. The breakfast was very nice! We loved the option to have the typical pastry and the cheese with pepper sauce everyday apart of other options, fresh fruit, different types of pastries and breads, ham and cheese, all perfect! You also have the option to park in the hotel parking. It is easier to get into the parking with a smaller car, but even with a big car you are fine. It is an option that not all hotels offer. What made our stay so exceptional was the stuff at the hotel. The communication was clear, accurate and prompt. In particular, the receptionist/manager excelled in providing us suggestions and recommendation on places to visit and things to do, so we could fully enjoy our time. It was a first class service! I give the Pêro Teive Bay Apartments Hotel my highest recommendation and thank all the stuff to make our stay so enjoyable and memorable!
