This hotel had exceptional service and there was great attention to detail. Beautiful scenery and the facilities were amazing. From the moment we walked into the hotel to when we checked out we felt completely relaxed by and emersed in the experience of the hotel. It has so many nice little touches throughout our stay and it’s really a beautiful hotel. Pool temperature is very subjective, we found it fine and refreshing for November.

Set within 17 km of Aljezur Castle and 30 km of Sardao Cape in Odeceixe, Bohemian Antique Guesthouse offers accommodation with seating area. The room was wonderful - like stepping back in time, with a few modern conveniences. It was my first time sleeping in a loft, which made the whole experience even better. The location was excellent - right on the main square, and easy to find.

Offering a garden and city view, Casa Luar is set in Odeceixe, 31 km from Sardao Cape and 39 km from Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. The owner of the Casa Luar was fantastic! He gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner. He kept an eye on my car parked across the street from the Casa Luar while we hiked 4 days northbound on the area’s Fisherman’s Path. The breakfast was outstanding! Fresh baked bread, excellent coffee, fresh juice, pastries! Very tasty, very convenient and taken together with the room, excellent value for the price. The room was spotlessly clean. The location was very convenient for our purposes and we were able to feel comfortable about parking our car there while we hiked. As soon as we came back 4 days later to retrieve our car, the owner immediately came out and chatted with us!

Pure Fonte Velha B&B in Vila do Bispo provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Everything! Beautifully decorated, clean, bright, lovely staff and wonderful breakfast. We liked it so much we came back for another night for our rest day and the owner was wonderful about accommodating us too. I think it ties for one of our favourite places to stay on the Fisherman’s Trail too.

Located in Zambujeira do Mar, 300 metres from Zambujeira do Mar Beach, Hostel Nature features views of the city. Everything was perfect! Diogo is a great host and cares for Hostel Nature very passionately.

Featuring free WiFi, NAU Salema Beach Village offers accommodation in Salema, in the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park. Lagos is 15 km away. Free private parking is available on site.... it was lovely - clean, fixed any problems, cleaned our rooms every day

Offering free WiFi access and a flat-screen TV in each private room, Alojamentos Vitinho - Vila Nova Milfontes is located in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 800 metres from the centre. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Love the room just wish we had more chance to use the patio (couldn’t this time because of the weather). Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Situated in the centre of Sagres, this hotel offers self-catering apartments with balconies 500 metres from the Atlantic Coast. They have the best staff you could imagine, it adds another star to the 4 star resort. Reception is open 24/7 and I got help no matter the time or stupidity of my request Besides that you've got all you need even for longer stays and even stuff like heated pool or underground garage (paid).

Situated a 5-minute walk from Mareta Beach, Pontalaia offers apartments with a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool, the Atlantic Ocean or Sagres. Guests can benefit from a gym and sauna. Everything was fine. Great apartment with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice view and a very friendly staff. Especially Maria and Stella were super, thanks a lot again! :)

Located in the green surroundings of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, the Memmo Baleeira offers an outdoor pool with magnificent Atlantic Ocean views and rooms with private balconies. Beautiful view, outstanding breakfast and wonderful helpful, cheerful staff. Pool and areas for sun loungers great. We miss this place, great philosophy on Wellbeing too.
