Paraíso Douro AL is located in Lamego, 2.8 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, and provides a balcony, garden, and free WiFi. The property features 10 rooms and 7 bungalows. Wow what a place to stay. The facility itself is impressive but the views even more impressive. The big challenge is getting there. A bit out of downtown Lamego and not easy to find even using Google maps. Missed the turn off three times - better signage would definitely help. Long winding road to get up to the facility so driving to get there late at night - need to be careful

Only a block from the famous wine bars an old building has been remarkably restored to produce a hotel which is really almost like a member of Small Luxury Hotels. The value for money is outstanding and we come back and back. Breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. Arquitects should book to admire the impeccable quality of the restoration. Staff is very, very friendly and helpful.

Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. My husband and I really loved the place and enjoyed our stay ❤️ They're all friendly, very accommodating and provided us a great quality service ❤️ The place is very cozy, clean and safe 😊 We will definitely come back again and will recommend to our family and friends too. ❤️Muito obrigada ❤️😊👍

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The place is fantastic, better than we expected! Great staff and warm welcoming, they service us their homemade excellent port when we arrived. The room is very spacious and charming with elegant antique furnitures, great atmosphere! The dinner was amazing! Great food and wine, they were very kind to serve us with another pre-drink of port, lots of great red wine during the dinner and with a 40years port after dinner. Breakfast is also nice and fresh! With its own orchard and vineyard, this 4-star hotel is situated 800 metres from Lamego’s centre. Guests at the Lamego can also savour the local cuisine for lunch and dinner. everything was great. the staff was friendly. the breakfast was to our likings. free parking in the garage or outside. heated pool. tennis court. lots of places to hang around.

Situated within 13 km of Natur Waterpark and 37 km of Douro Museum, Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Provesende. Fabulous views over the Douro valley! The owner was very friendly and helpful. However note that the closest restaurant is 10 min away by car.

Offering mountain views, A Tendinha - Guest House is an accommodation located in Peso da Régua, 1.1 km from Douro Museum and 14 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Moinhos do Paiva is set in Castelo de Paiva and features a private pool and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Spectacular place with a lake view. The place is perfect to disconnect and be surrounded by nature. Ana from the staff was amazing, very thoughtful and open to help. For sure will be a place to come back again.
