The hotel and staff overall were perfect. Beautiful location, great breakfast, very nice rooms... The hotel is situated in the very center, so it is close everywhere. Also the roof swimming pool is great!

Featuring free WiFi, São Francisco Accommodation is a renovated building with 6 floors and a lift. It offers modern rooms in Funchal, within a 5-minute walk from the harbour. We stayed for 5 nights and it was great! The location was perfect just next to the gardens, the room was very clean (cleaning every other day), breakfast was quite basic but a a good start for the day, very reasonable price and most importantly the staff was very kind and helped with the parking situation in Funchal. Definitely worth it and we would love to come back!

Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. An amazing hotel with an extremely friendly staff that was ready to accommodate our needs or quick to fix any inconvenience. The staff additionally cleaned a little bit in the evening, made a bed and bring small chocolates. Super cute. The place was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. I loved the infinity pool and the views from the hotel. It was especially wonderful to fall asleep listening to the ocean. I like the spa facilities but can’t say that massage was exceptional for my taste. I hiked and walked a lot so expected some muscle release massage but it was just a very spa oriented procedure, didn’t really ease my muscle tension. Overall an incredible experience and I would love to come back.

The 4-star Aqua Natura Madeira offers elegant rooms with Atlantic Ocean views in the fishing village of Porto Moniz, 45 km north of Funchal city centre. It offers a sauna on site. Good hotel with comfortable bed and relatively spacious room. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The view over the natural pools to the breaking waves was spectacular. Breakfast was extremely good indeed. We had dinner in both of the hotel restaurants and were very happy with the menu on both occasions.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located in Sítio da Felpa, S. Jorge, Madeira Island. It offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lush vegetation about 50 km from Funchal. Amazing place, breathtaking view, calm and quite, tranquility! Teresa is exceptional host! Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended.

Excellent location and beautiful domain. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was extensive and delicious. We had a great time, one of our top stays in Madeira. Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Everything from start to finish was everything exceptional. Staff is amazing you are feeling like at home. Breakfast are freshly made by your order. The facilities of the property are truly amazing. Bravo Casa Da Piedade, we will back to you again and again. Wonderful!

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. I loved absolutely everything. The ocean view from the hotel was just woooow. The food was amazing. The stuff was the sweetiest ever. I wish I knew the name of a blonde woman who was purely the most lovely person ever. Thank you!
