We picked this place bc it’s close to best snorkeling/ kayaking place in Big Island and is at a good price for this location. We’re really happy that we bumped into this gem. The room is clean with plenty of sunlight and great natural ventilation. The room got everything we need, microwave, small oven, fridge, etc. Showers are nice and warm. The porch has great view to the garden and a little bit of the ocean. During the night, we laid down on the parking lot and watched the sky. So beautiful. Stanley, the host, greeted us upon our arrival. He’s an amazing person. He took us to a tour to Meana Kea summit with much lower cost comparing to other tours. Super comfortable and private ride with hot KONA coffee to help with the altitude climate up at the summit. We didn’t have breakfast but Stanley offered a few complimentary exotic fruits grown at the farm. Super fresh. Before booking I read about the frog sound other people talked about, to us it sounds ok. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Ricky and Irine are very kind and nice hosts, and provide you lots of info about the island. Definitely a 10 to me!

We were upgraded to a master ocean view suite, which was spectacular. The view and sounds of the ocean were the backdrop to our deeply relaxing and inspiring stay. The location is easily the most beautiful on the island. The swimming beach was fantastic and my husband was pleased to be able to snorkel right on the property every day. The breakfast and different options for food were plentiful, healthy and delicious. And the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, special and comfortable. We also enjoyed the complimentary yoga and sound bath sessions and I enjoyed a world class facial with the excellent Cindy at the spa. We loved the whole experience and will be back!
