The location is satisfactory, we got a free upgrade for one room, which was nice. There are restaurants and shops nearby, some even open 24/7. There is a bus stop near the hotel from which you can easily get to the center. We had minor problems with buying public transport tickets, because machines are not at all stops, so I recommend buying them in advance at larger stations, it was not even possible to pay by card, so we still had to go to an ATM for cash. Certain types of tickets are also available at LuLu exchange offices, but they only have longer-term fares - a weekly pass for 7 days. The rooftop pool has a view, but it has few sunbeds.

Lacks the charm and character it might have had ten years ago, limited amenities for families, not the best location for exploring Abu Dhabi outside of ADNEC. Overall, the Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi seems like a good option for business travelers attending events at ADNEC, but it might not be the best choice for families or tourists looking to explore the city.
