Excellent property just 15kms away from main Hallstatt. The drive was pleasant. The rooms are a bit far away from the main reception building but the view from the balcony was awesome. The restaurant is good too.

Lake Grundlsee is a beautiful quiet location, very suitable for family holidays, pleasant swimming, fishing in the lake. The apartment was cosy, clean, superbly equipped, e.g. many kitchen appliances, washing machine etc. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, gave us tips on excursions and events in the area, were interested in us all the time to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Andreas told us the history of the land/house which goes back to the 1100s. The property has been in the family since the 1600s and a vacation property since 1745. It has been renovated to modern standards. It is just a great spot to enjoy the great benefits of Austria.
