The pace is nearby the mountains and there is the option to go jogging or walking around. The area is beautiful and energizing. The breakfast space was a bit small, but there were enough options.
Located in Grödig at the foot of Untersberg Mountain, the Sallerhof is just 6 km from Salzburg’s city centre. It offers free wired internet and a furnished balcony in every room.

A really charming place to stay. Comfty, clean well equipped rooms, pleanty of info-flyers about the region at the check-in desk. The staff is really kind, the food is great. One must try the self brewed cider, and apple juice. Excellent location, really good beergarden.
A must-see for those interested in Celts and Mining.
A must-see for those interested in Celts and Mining. The "Salzbergwerk Dürrnberg" is much much more interesting, than the overfamous "Salzbergwerk Hallstatt". Celtic Museum in Hallein ist really of value. The town itself has a very limited number of places to dine. Decent train connection to Salzburg, savin You a lot of money and a most boring view of Salzburg after 5 p.m.

Didn't really get to see Hallein except from driving through it. Looks a nice place. Where we were was right next to a river running off the mountains with easy access.
Nice walk to the university and a house full of cockerels.
Golf course extremely near by if that's your thing.

Well placed provided you drive there yourself.
Well placed provided you drive there yourself. The Salt mine (Salzwelten) sight is near by, as well as a golf course, I think. Also Bechtesgaden, Germany is less than 1/2 an hour away (where there a lot to do, perhaps cheaper too). Also, Salzburg, of course!
Beautiful renovation of a very old building. It had everything we need. The location in old town Hallein is walkable to groceries, shopping, restaurants and central to our as activities and excursions to Eagle’s Nest, Königssee, Ice caves and Werfen for the castle and falconry show. We loved the terrace apartment and the combination of the terrace apartment and a first floor fit our group very comfortably. Parking is available to drop off luggage and groceries.

This is a small, family run hotel. The historic building is very charming, and everything is renovated with taste, and in good condition. The room was even more spacious than I expected, and very clear. The position is very good as well, near to the center of Salzburg, and they have a free parking area which was very important for us. The breakfast (additional cost) was quite rich. The lady at the front desk is most kind.
Great looking hotel- our room was clean, new, and very modern- to include an amazing moss living wall. Great balcony with a great view as well. I liked the abundant counter, desk, and table space in the room as we had several meals in there and a lot of luggage. Parking was easy and there was food and drink available. We used this as a base to visit area attractions and it was an easy drive to all.
Everything was fine. The breakfast was simple but nice enough. The room was quite spacious. Due to the structure of the building, we could hear noises from the kitchen downstairs. Washing dishes noises and preparation noises woke me up every morning. The staffs were great and provided us lots of travel information.
The Pizza place near the hotel was not as good as others. choose wisely.
The building is old and renovated to a very high standard. Hallein is surrounded by moubtains and the setting of this hotel is picturesque. The apartment styled rooms are spacious with all modern amenities made our stay comfortable. The washer dryer facilities on the premise is a big plus. My questions, queries were swiftly resolved by staff and were always reachable on WhatsApp.
The property was better than what we expected from the photos, hotel staff were friendly and it was a perfect over night spot, only 20 min from Salzburg.
The restaurant on site was very tasty and the staff there was very nice as well. We stayed in the family room and it was perfect for what we needed for one night.
During our 5 days what we spent there, everything was great. The hospitality is top. The room fulfills everything that it needs, it is comfy, tidy and the view is breathtaking! To be in silent isolated apartment ,yet Hallein is easily accessable this apartment is a top choice.
Friendly and helpful staff, cheap public parking is available nearby (3-5 minutes walking), hotel is located on a quiet location near Hallein city center, good wifi. You can easily go to Salzburg city center by train, train station is cca 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
The stay at the property was awesome! It is a well-renovated old building and the apartment was big and clean. The kitchen is more than capable of cooking. We really liked the place and we are happy that we choose Hallein and this residence.
Great place and lovely family that really cares about your stay! Anything you need they are there. Great location away from the crowds but still close to salzburg. Breakfast was very nice and included in stay. Pool was also a plus.
Property is family owned and operated. We felt like guest at a friends house. Breakfast was amazing and delicious! Location was perfect. Not far from restaurants and Salzburg. We also enjoyed
All hotel is very nice with lovely well designed interiors, Very comfortable rooms with cozy bed and a large bathroom. We also appreciated very much that our dog was allowed with us :)
The staff is lovely and all spoke English. They were very helpful with our dinner. Parking was easy because it was the weekend. Very easy to walk to many nice restaurants in Hallein.
