Good place for relax from crowds of people. Good for hiking and cycling. Good restaurant and bakery. A bit isolated - it takes a few minutes by car to get to a bigger shop or a city. Just what we wanted :-)

We had lovely stay in Sankt Leonhard.
We had lovely stay in Sankt Leonhard. We did a big hike on Saturday and on Sunday we took the cable car up to the lake. The views both days were incredible, it's a beautiful area. I especially loved the cows, horses, and donkeys at the top of the first hike we did (unsure of the route name but it starts near to alpenhof hotel and goes to three alm huts) It's very difficult to get lost as there is one road going through the valley, but it also has busses, unfortunately they only go until 8pm but we were lucky to stay in a lovely hotel with a nice restaurant and bar.

Pitztaler Gletcher is a very nice skiing resort, especially for the families. It provides opportunities for having fun for both beginners and advaced skiers. It provides a lot of opportunities for apres ski activities mainly in Mandarfen. There are several opportunities for going to eat in most of the bigger villages in the Pitztal valley. Awesome location, directly across from the Rifflsee Gondola as well as the smaller bunny hill that we had to use once because all the lifts on Rifflsee and the Gletscher were closed on account of the awful weather. But even then, it was skiing directly to the door of the hotel.
