Terrific location and very clean. And of course one of the best view rooms I've ever seen. The view of the waterfall and surrounds is simply amazing. You also get to have awesome breakfast with this view. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I loved where it was. The village was beautiful. I used it as a base to explore the area. The staff were great and welcoming, and the view from the private verandah was exceptional. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. I loved "commuting" to various sights by the local bus and cable cars every morning and evening it handed to the magic of the area.
The Edelweiss hotel can be found in calm surroundings, a 4-minute walk away from the train station in the car-free village of Wengen. The hotel offers cosy rooms and free WiFi.

More or less everything was as it should be. I like the fact that you could cook your own eggs at breakfast and there was a good selection of breads. The staff were all very nice indeed and the hotel was quiet amid beautiful scenery.
The Hotel Jungfrau is situated next to the ski school with its own exercise area for children and offers direct access to slopes around the car-free village of Mürren.
Located at the foot of the ski slopes, Historic Hotel Falken was one of the first hotels in the Jungfrau region. It offers a music room, a terrace and guided walks.

Stayed 4nights during ski week
Great people, great break fast and dinner.
While there was fire alert during stay, the staff was very professional for guide guests.
Hotel Bären enjoys a quiet location in the car-free Wengen, just 350 metres from the Train Station, offering views of the Jungfrau Mountain and the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

The staff was extremly friendly. The woman that welcomed us (I presume she was the owner of the hotel) actualy gave us a larger room with mountain view free of additional charge. Me and my girlfriend are foodies, and we like fancy restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was Michelin standard, for a reasonable price (Dinner costed around 150€ but it was worth of it). Very tasty and good portions.
Location is perfect.
Beautiful Valley.
Stechelberg Restaurant food was above my expectations.
Staff is very helpful and thoughtful.
I will certainly return in the future and will recommend it to friends.
Very fond thoughts of Stechelberg.

We stayed in the chalet attached to Hotel Stechelberg, so big and comfortable.
Photographs do not do it justice, such a beautiful place. Snow capped mountain all year round, surrounded by blue skies, mountains, green fields and wild flowers.
Witnessed some of the farming activity in an UNESCO region - farmer moving his cows to higher grounds, well worth seeing. Hay making, cutting the meadows, baling, wrapping bales etc.
We did one of the walks around the bottom of the mountain and went to Trummelbach-Falle. Rivers so clean, you can see the pebbles and stones. Really caters for all age groups. Public transport punctual.
Alpenhof Stechelberg is a cute, rustic hotel with amazing views tucked in the back of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The location is a quick walk away from the bus stop, but far enough away from the usual touristy areas in Lauterbrunnen that the hotel retains much of its natural beauty and quiet charm. The owner was extremely nice and gave us 4 Francs to use the hot showers for nothing in return. The accommodations are simple but more than sufficient for hikers, sightseers, and adventurers. Highly recommend, especially at such an affordable price!
We loved our stay! Location of the hotel is just perfect - through your window you wake up and see the 470 waterfall with its water spreading around. Kids loved to see also few landing helicopters hear the hotel during the first day of our stay. Location was very quiet - hotel is just at the end of the car allowed road coming from Lauterbrunnen. Restaurant was also great - big portions of everything but what we really loved were the soups. Great Gulash served there! :) We did not want our vacation to end and for sure we will visit again!
This is a simple, renovated mountain house beyond stechelberg those looking to walk off the pavement. While the rooms aren’t sound proof it’s well built with non squeaky floors and wooden walls and ceilings. Beautifully clean in interiors and linens, pillows, blankets and comfy firm beds. I have allergies so I was very appreciative of how clean and fresh the rooms are. We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts gave us good and clear info ahead and were good natured with all comers. We hope to visit again. Lovely stay and location.
Hotel located in a very quiet position at the very end of the valley's road and surrounded by meadows and trees. From my room's window I could see one of those great waterfalls Lauterbrunnen valley is famous for. Room size and cleanliness were ok and common WC and shower also. Wi-FI connection was good. The hotel has a restaurant with a pleasant garden to dine outside and that's the only option to eat if you don't want to go to Lauterbrunnen (7 km away). The Postal Bus stop is just 50 metres from the hotel.
This place was a gem, away from the touristy side of lauterbrunnen it was right at the end of stechelberg and we had a view of the green hills and water falls around.
The place was beautifully quiet and very old school like it has a basement kitchen and a dining room and even a lift for food.
The place was very antiquey and had a very nice aura about it.
We could also check in at anytime which was a bonus!
Highly recommend staying here for some peace and quiet!
Family room with a balcony accessible from the hall was an excellent and unexpected benefit - overseeing the mountains and the waterfalls over the green trees - amazing with a glass of wine. All was excellent, staff friendly, breakfast, location, parking, etc. Lauterbrunnen can get crowded, at the end of the valley (here) is much better and a great place to start a hike further up pr easy walk down the valley. For families with kids - it's calm and peaceful.
This place is for people who don't like to see other people :-). The chalet is located at the end of the road in Stechelberg, so you don't have much traffic. The hotel restaurant is about 50m from the chalet. The chalet itself has a terrace with unbeatable panoramic view of the mountains including Breithorn. This is an ideal place for relaxation or hiking or both. Highly recommended!
The beautiful location and the calmness of it. I will go back in a heartbeat hands down.
Mrs. Diane and Mr. Mark the owner is such a beautiful soul her warmest heart embraced you, making your stay smooth. Her will to helped the clients oversees any hostess responsibilities. Overall this Hostel, The Alpenhof Mountain House is one to visit.
Beautiful hotel in an old l renovated building close to the mountains. Very clean and comfortable, with big kitchen and comfy living room. The owners are super kind and friendly. Mountain trails start just near the house. Definitely recommend!
Don't forget 1 Fr coins for the shower! :)
Location is close to the bus stop. It has almost everything you need to self cater. It was comfortable and warm. It had a great selection of TV channels. Including most of the UK mainstream channels.its lovely and quiet even though its is on the road to Stechelberg.

The hotel is perhaps the closest one to Schilthorn when parking is needed. Simple rooms but with multiple trails next door. A decent restaurant next door with outside seating. Lift to Schilthorn about 10 min by foot.
The restaurant was more pleasant than I expected, eating in the garden. Food was as good as anywhere in the valley. Stechelberg turned out to be a good location to use as a base for walking. Breakfast was good.
The house is really nice, warm and well placed, in a quiet area at the end of Stechelberg and close to everything we needed.
The owners are super friendly and helpful.
We'll for sure be back soon! *****
It’s beautifully set in the back of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The historic hotel has high ceilings and beautiful views. Dianne warmly welcomed me, and showed me around the impeccably clean hotel.
The hotel and restaurant staff do not welcome other cultures, there is no lighting in the corridors of the house at night after 10 pm, the residents of the area do not welcome Muslims.
