Well and central located in the "Swarzwald". A nice little city with all the basic shops. Good location for a hiking holiday as well as citytrips to Freiburg and even SchaffHausen in Switserland.

The view of the valley below and the forest surrounding was much prettier than shown. We enjoyed just relaxing on the terrace to soak it all in. Besides the pools and other activities offered at the hotel, there are also hiking trails immediately available. The meals were outstanding! We opted to have both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, so we were able to just relax and enjoy the food and service.SusanUnited States

Hotel and room was very clean and managed by very kind people. All the staffs were very friendly giving a feel of being home. We travelled to Titissee for a day trip with kids and end up staying there to avoid night travel back to Swiss and it was the nicest thing in our trip to stay back.

The whole staff had a smile on their face no matter what. That gives everyone a relaxing feeling. Very nice breakfast. If you want to relax (without small kids 😄) then this place is definitly a superb choice. I did have small kids with me so i feel a bit sorry for the other guests, but we were there for only 1 night. 😊JetonNorway

The location is fantastic and close to Titisee Lake ( 10 minutes by car). The rooms are spacious, well maintained, and clean, and the bathroom is large. Breakfast was excellent, diverse with good coffee. Free car parking. We will stay here again.
